My favorite geeky nerd movie makes computers all dangerous and cool way to ruin it Woz:P*laugh* When else do we get movies about the computer industry(I still cry at night for poor FedEx:'( they got screwed)
- Celeron, on 10/12/2007, -25/+12Ninjas > pirates.

- Mortiferous, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1Ninja are the NeoPirates. But those Elizabethan Dogs are still wankers.
- ChileanGoD, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1Mongolians > (Pirates & Ninjas)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4dXHDaeySE - mancat, on 10/12/2007, -7/+6I'm not sure if you were aware of this, but a ninja at sea is a pirate. When pirates hit land, they become ninjas again. There's no competition because they are actually the same thing, but they'd never let you know that.

throwing ***** at ***** doesn't make it smell less.- DoctorSnyder, on 10/12/2007, -10/+2I loved that movie you D-Bag
- jenmarsh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This is not true, there are many relationships of different strains which arguments never surface, and I know this from personal experience. It isn't a matter of not confronting things, it is just the nature of a said relationship. If two people are non-argumentative and non-comabtive then an argument will likely not occur. If one is non-combative/non-argumentative then chances are the aggressor would not continue any kind of argument due to the fact they know it will go no where. It's completely possible and seeing the way Steve Wozniak is after having watched many interviews, I could see how an argument never surfaced. It's completely plausible.
- awesomepossum94, on 10/12/2007, -19/+2documentarys are for noobs.
- CaseyB, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13This is a good example of why Woz is the coolest guy in the industry: he's got a great heart. I have no doubt that there are stories he could tell about the "differences" between he and Jobs, but he's too classy to do that.
- webwiz2600, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Anyone know when "Can You Hack it?" comes out. I remember seeing leaked scenes with Woz having lights in his mouth.

- rinkjustice, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1Weird. I watched this movie no more than a half hour ago. And my thoughts on this drama/documentary? I was disappointed. The acting was serviceable but not convincing, the soundtrack was distracting and sometimes out of sync and it was juvenile in some spots. The dialogue and story was the worst though. It shied away from historical detail and the conversations between Jobs and Gates were alot of "we're better than you, you're stealing from us" playground nattering. I figure either the screenwriter/director didn't really know what they were talking about or dumbed it down for small children to understand and enjoy.
My .02: Don't let "Pirates" steal your time and pocket change.- captjc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7It was meant to be a fun movie. If you want to watch a documentary, watch a documentary (Nerds 2.0.1, is pretty good). If you want to watch a fun movie, Pirates of Silicon Valley is just that. It is a fairly lighthearted movie.
Yes it was dumbed down. They were not targeting the geek elite with this movie (it was made by TNT). They were targeting the average Joe who seems a little curious about this mystical box called the computer.
Yes, there were many parts that were over-dramatized more than a America's Most wanted dramatization skit. Remember It is just a show and you probably should relax.
/What next, A gross analyzation of Tron or WarGames?

- ShrimpCrackers, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Surprising considering Woz admits that Steve ripped him off big time in the beginning of Apple and afterwards. I would think there'd be at least some arguments that went on. Woz is definitely one of a kind then.
- danknerd, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2I hate Steve Jobs because of PoSC movie, and always will... he was an ass to his daughter completely and I believe that was portrayed acurrately. So the Woz is an awesome guy, but I will always hate Apple because of Steve Jobs.
- joesoko, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9I met woz, a few months back, he is simply one of the most genuine, passionate people i have ever me in my life. He truly loves technology, and apple.
Just wanted to throw my 2 cents on the table.- hunchback, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1All the stupid segway polo news aside, I guess he did leave a legacy of out-of-the-box thinking at Apple (among other stuff I'm ignorant about), also his sincere and kind image being associated with Apple is a good balance to S Job's emperor hard-on image ... but yeah i guess how else do you command an army right ... ah who cares
- evolution360, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2If you want to see the movie where most of the sound bites from PoSV come from, rent "Triumph of the Nerds" (yes "Triumph" not "Revenge"). it seams made for elementary school students, but the interviews with Gates, Jobs, Woz, Balmer, and others make it worth the watch.
- floguy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I've seen that and to be honest, it's really good. I'd highly reccomend it.

- FunkyChicken, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2What's really awesome is how Woz mentions that he has a 'bootlegged' copy of the movie! I loved that!
- Garfunkel, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0PoSV for me was a great move, i recken the characters were well portrayed and it was very interesting.
Woz is a cool guy, jobs needs to see a psychiatrist - acomj, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1If you want some interesting PC history. watch triumph of the nerds documentary .. Very good, highly recommended
