- nicheplayer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Ya gotta hand it to the guy. Starts Apple, creates the Mac (with lots of help), gets kicked out of Apple, starts NeXT (which gives rise to OS X), starts Pixar, comes back to Apple, gives the world the iPod. Love him or hate him, it's been one hell of a ride. Lesser personalities would've been chewed up and spit out after Bill Gates and Co. stomped Apple.
- dhughes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2 I don't own any Apple products (other than stock @ +220%) but you have to wonder is Apple the new MicroSoft? It's like a time warp to the early 1980's when MicroSoft was rocketing to success. Sure Apple did well then too but nothing like it is now.
- nato64, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"Too bad Apple's products DO crash and are WAY overpriced. Thats how they get all that money, they charge $5k for a computer that's equivalent PC is about $2k."
I paid less $1500 for my iMac, which screams at using Final Cut Pro to edit 20 hours of footage (documentary)... try doing THAT on a P.C. and never having it crash.
Maybe I'll be the first to admit it, my Mac sometimes crashes. But wanna know what I define a crash? Let's see here... of *****, windows media player doesn't work on Safari that well, Safari crashed... OMG ALL MY OTHER APPLICATIONS ARE FINE. What a weird phenomenon! I relaunch Safari and I'm back exactly where I was.
Software crashes on a mac too. The MAJOR difference is that it does not effect the system or any other application running. Actually, when Finder crashes for some odd reason, the rest of my apps are still absolutely FINE. Try that one a windows machine. - skellener, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Amazing how times have changed.

It kind of looks like he has the Windows logo in his glasses. Evil looking illustration. - molecool, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Amazing how times have changed.

Well, that should teach us to not believe anything in the media ;-) - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Haters everywhere fill their posts with envy.
- sinfony, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The Nano is only good from a business standpoint. Steve Jobs must just be laughing hysterically at having released an inferior product to succeed his most popular product, and have it sell through the roof and garnering acclaim all over the place.
- sunmicroman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Move over Bill....
- iFindout, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Well, the guy's done a helluva job, pun intended, telling people what to do left and right at his evil headquarters. Mwahahah, Mwahahahah...

I must be the only windows user who's machine doesn't crash. Everyone always complains about how unstable windows is. I'm using WinXP Pro SP2 and it never crashes. The only program that crashes with any regularity is FireFox. I love FireFox, so the occasional crash doesn't push me to IE or Opera (obviously, IE is full of holes and lets popups through, and Opera's interface just bugs me). Other than that, though, I have no problems. What are you people doing with your machines to make them crash? Seriously.
I have had explorer crash before due to FireFox's memory leak problems, but guess what? All of the other programs keep on going like nothing even happened. (I don't use a mac, but I assume Finder is the basic file explorer.) That's even for a core piece of the OS. That says something about how stable XP is.
Does anyone have any different experience? - skyfex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0DrEbola: How do you know so much more than us? Have you talked to him personally? If he's just in for the money, why don't he license Mac OS X and make a quick few billion?
- MedHead, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0How did Adam Curry get on the "Best Leaders" list?!
- Boof, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I wish headlines would stop looking like a 14 year old girl wrote them.

Silly headline ... I'm a happy MacUser but this Appleworship is getting boring.
With regards to the illustration: am I the only person who thought of "That Yellow Bastard" from Sin City? Ok never mind - orangetiki, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I didn't know steve jobs shaves his head. Looks like it in the drawing. Steve Jobs' more punk then me =8(
- pupppet, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Somebody remove the Apple category already, we don't need every other submission fawning over them.
- GhostFreeman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Wow, only 100 diggs and it's already broken, that has to be a record.
- mingyeow, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0very very very old news.... enough hype man. it is getting sick

- DrEbola, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2Guess what. Steve Jobs is just in it for the money. Don't you hate him too? Why don't we start calling him $teve Job$ with his current wave of success.
- kaje, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I'm going to cry when Steve Jobs dies. I hope he doesn't die, since he's God and all, but IF he does...Apple....what will ever happen with Apple?...
- TheMadMonk, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1He is too smug. I get the uneasy feeling that he masturbates to pictures of himself.
