- coolfactor, on 10/11/2007, -17/+42I tell you, a lot of digg'ers are whiny babies. Why click into a story if it doesn't interest you? Some of us use digg to learn about technology. I appreciate these iPhone stores, thanks.
- pak314, on 10/11/2007, -3/+10... I could buy an iPhone.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6I never even seen it, I just had someone pick one up and take it directly to the trash.
- dawesdust12, on 10/11/2007, -3/+7You could almost afford an iPhone.

shakes fist @ digg comments. i didn't get my 120 seconds worth of editing... - Milamber, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2You are right, but the Google Maps application is already built in to the iPhone when you get it. This list is about 3rd Party web apps that you access through the iPhone's web browser.
- mattmollysdad, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1thanks appreciate ur info...
portable Nav units go for something like $400 and up so now I have another reason to buy one. - offsky, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Until Apple creates more apps or opens the iPhone up to developers, the web is the only way we can add functionality. As a web developer, I am happy enough with this option because I don't have to learn anything new. It only took a few hours to optimize my website (An online to-do list: http://www.toodledo.com/slim ) for the iPhone, and when I want to update the code, I dont have to worry about pushing new widgets out to all the phones. I just update my server, and Boom!
- poetic_folly, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Full list here http://www.modmyiphone.com/apps/
- ilgaz, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1I wonder who will post first "HELLO WORLD!" thing and list as "Application". Don't forget to GOTO 10 too, it scrolls screen :)
- drust, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0yeah most of these were probably built way before the iphone release. not like apple published specs etc on how to format it for the phone
- wunch, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1The iPhone has a dedicated button on the home screen to a built-in YouTube app, which works great for me. I'm not sure why they linked the other one in the article.
- SummySun, on 02/14/2009, -0/+0cool! I get some new information!

http://www.business-business.biz - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2They couldn't include Zombo.com because the iPhone wont play the pleasant voice track.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2You know there is a front page digg for the blogger that compiles all the videos surfacing of people destroying (not dissecting) iPhones. The quantity of videos is mind boggling. People apparently have a lot more money to waste than I thought...
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+3Missing from the list is the app that lets you listen to music and browse the web at the same time.
- photokinetic, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0My thoughts exactly If you read the archives of the early iPod forums you see the same type of myopic reasoning.
- zaqintosh, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Is there some kind of javascript library / SDK for making iphone friendly web apps? Or are all of these just people guesstimating with their own custom interfaces?
- mentor972, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Why does the Youtube app keep appearing? Doesn't anyone realize that it doesn't work?
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -5/+4Web Apps != Real Apps.

- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -4/+2They are bitter about after the bright screen and slick interface the iPhone basically sucks and compares to a free handset thing.

http://www2.etelos.com/iphone/ - photokinetic, on 10/11/2007, -9/+7 For those crybabies that are "enough about the iPhone" get over your iPenis envy. This is a high tech gadget less than a week in the wild with thousands of users. If you aint interested, move along, there aint nothing to see here.

- mattmollysdad, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1I thought there was going to be something about using Google Maps with some kind of real time traffic updates. Was I right or did I dream that up?

Apple fanboys are on the prowl today. - wastern, on 10/11/2007, -5/+1Hopefully people fix their apps. I went to play with the top 10 list that Lifehacker posted a bit ago and most didn't really work. Those people spent all this time making "throw scroll" work in the desktop browser......it does it automatically on the iPhone so that just makes things not scroll at all
Others were made to look the right size in the desktop browser, so on the iPhone they are really tiny when it shows the whole page and you can't zoom in on them right.
I guess it will take time for people to fix them now that they can see how it works on the iPhone. Though I knew that they're little in-brower throw scroll wouldn't work from day one and I'm not huge into web development, I would've thought they'd have been able to logically deduce that it wouldn't work as well before the iPhone was out. - jasonb33, on 10/11/2007, -4/+0The way developers want to jump onto the iPhone bandwagon, not to mention 'the second coming of elvis' hype around it, is proof enough that devices for web 2.0 apps are here to stay... Expensive today, more the reason why decent imitations should be on the way..
- svenjick, on 10/11/2007, -5/+1I refuse to digg this! No SKD, no digg.
- scottybea, on 10/11/2007, -4/+0this is by far the most amount of dugg down comments iv seen
