- Tr3mulant, on 06/29/2009, -6/+108R.I.P. Steve Jobs. Oh wait, he didn't die this week.
- hankthedwarf, on 06/29/2009, -9/+88I really hope he gets healthy.
- copypastry, on 06/28/2009, -2/+80Why is it that when I load up that page I get 30 or so pings from CCHR.ORG (scientology anti-psychiatry front) ?
- Genecalypse, on 06/29/2009, -4/+71dugg for porn stache
- SpeedSteamBoat, on 06/29/2009, -2/+50SPOILERS: Steve Jobs is going to die! Eventually.
- stopbrorape, on 06/29/2009, -7/+54Steve Jobs better not die.
- ChaosProfessor, on 06/28/2009, -1/+44are the early pictures from Pirates of Silicon Valley or Noah Wyle really look that much like young Steve Jobs?
- pingpants, on 06/28/2009, -3/+41I want the old Steve Jobs, P.I. back.
- FadieZ, on 06/29/2009, -4/+33GODDAMN IT GUARDIAN AND TIMES GET IT THROUGH YOUR THICK ***** SKULLS. We don't give a ***** if more clicks = more money, you are ***** up your image. Slideshow=no go, go check out boston.com and ***** LEARN something.
- geesamba, on 06/29/2009, -2/+27Why are there two digg downs on hankthedwarf's comment? Jobs is a *human being* battling cancer. With rare exception, it doesn't matter who you are in this world: you shouldn't disagree with a fellow human trying to beat a potentially life-threatening disease.
- Sagags, on 06/29/2009, -0/+20@AriaNoelle
How stupid of me! I totally forgot Steve Jobs beat kids, raped several women, and murdered countless people.
I am such a idiot! - inactive, on 06/29/2009, -3/+20What are those people called that always change the subject of any discussion to political shenanigans? Oh yeah, *****.
- ninjaturtles1, on 06/29/2009, -0/+16There's an app for that!
- had3l, on 06/29/2009, -0/+16MAYBE, just maybe, he will live forever as a digital representation of himself.
Or have his head floating in a jar and stored away in a museum. - ThreeDee912, on 06/29/2009, -0/+14PeerGuardian says it's a mix of WebSideStory,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WebSideStory
and some tracking cookies/ad crap from "Archer Communications":
http://www.archercom.com/ - foodtimeagain, on 06/29/2009, -1/+14"he also looks a lot like john lennon"
Why, you're right! They DID both have glasses! - jamminman, on 06/29/2009, -0/+9they look pretty much identical
- TheSnuffster, on 06/29/2009, -0/+7That sounds disgusting.
- simbait, on 06/29/2009, -2/+8 "327 ways he can kill a man with an iPhone"
- jo21, on 06/29/2009, -1/+7well don't feel bad, there is another one coming.
so he can die in that one. - ninjaturtles1, on 06/29/2009, -2/+8There's an app for that!
- LOGNATR, on 06/29/2009, -2/+8How has Steve Jobs "changed the world"? He's like an auto mechanic, charging people excessive prices for a product they don't know enough about. He's basically a crook with a smooth sales pitch and shiny trinkets.
- WinkyMcGee, on 06/29/2009, -2/+8Just you.
- viper001, on 06/29/2009, -1/+6Only 7 ages, and they couldn't fit it on one ***** page?
- ThreeDee912, on 06/29/2009, -2/+7I'm just here to say Pancreatic cancer sucks, and that even though Apple's stuff might be expensive, Steve Jobs played a huge role in forming the early personal computer industry.
I bet there are people trolling in the comments below mine saying things like "LOL DOUCHE BAG!" or some other random crap. - mw81, on 06/29/2009, -2/+6Without Steve, I really doubt apple would be as popular as they are today. Apple has honestly gone from an almost no-factor company to an extremely trend-setting (but awesome) company in the past 10 years, much of the success is tied to Steve Jobs. Steve, We hope you recover quickly and without many complications. You will go down in history!
Ps. I'll be a PC fanboy for life, but mad props to you for turning apple around 180 degrees
and ***** THE RIAA! - tnoy, on 06/29/2009, -0/+4He got the kidney, according to his doctors comment, because he was the sickest on the list.
“He received a liver transplant because he was the patient with the highest MELD score (Model for End-Stage Liver Disease) of his blood type and, therefore, the sickest patient on the waiting list at the time a donor organ became available. Mr. Jobs is now recovering well and has an excellent prognosis.” - geesamba, on 06/29/2009, -0/+4Tell us in no less than three properly formed sentences *why* he personally offended you so much that you harbor such hate. Is it because a battery in one of your iPods died before you thought it should? Is it because your MacBook's screen gets smudgy all the time? Or is it because Apple products cost a few dollars more in Canada?
Please, give us a reason to substantiate your hatred for another human being battling a life-threatening disease. Otherwise, stop spreading useless, ignorant *****. - Kakemonstere, on 06/29/2009, -1/+4... cause if he does, I'm going ***** kill him!
- eyodius, on 06/29/2009, -0/+3It's not that I'm anti-establishment, I just hate negative marketing. I don't like commercials that imply that I'm stupid, or try to scare me, or are just mean. I know I'm one person, I know I don't make a dent. But I don't want buy you're product if you're going to be a dick.
Admittedly, Apple's marketing has gotten better. - Kajaah117, on 06/29/2009, -1/+4I'm not going to vote either way, but that is disrespectful to both Jobs and Mays. Both men have accomplished a lot, and the death of either one is a very sad thing.
- christoast, on 06/29/2009, -0/+3I read he was hardcore vegetarian and would sometimes go days just eating fruit. Guess you really can't control your body in the way you would want (currently). You can increase chances i guess but i know stories of meat eaters who drank whiskey everyday that lived to 90+
- livelikeasam, on 06/29/2009, -1/+4Dugg for: "demonstrating one of the 327 ways he can kill a man with an iPhone."
- stopbrorape, on 07/02/2009, -0/+3NO, DON'T YOU EVER SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT!!!
- valis, on 06/29/2009, -2/+5(Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy): "He's just this guy, ya know?"
- mungabba, on 06/29/2009, -2/+4I love my iMac but that comment is just too funny to bury. I green thumbed you mate =)
- thushan, on 06/29/2009, -5/+7I admire Jobs for the job he's done on getting Apple back on track, it was a hard task but he did it. I hope he pulls through himself though.
- LOGNATR, on 06/29/2009, -1/+3Wrong.

Sounds exactly like Apple and Mr. Steve Jobs. - dragossh, on 06/29/2009, -0/+2Maybe they need their own Steve Jobs to accomplish that daunting task.
- GeorgeStone2, on 06/29/2009, -0/+2Cancer, he BEAT IT BEAT IT BEAT IT BEAT IT
- xfitzyx, on 06/29/2009, -0/+2Sadly, that's about the mentality of the average digg comment these days.

- ultrafez, on 06/29/2009, -1/+3Is that a collection of porn, or some kind of pornographic moustache?
- neonoodle, on 06/29/2009, -0/+2I think that's what they also call people who have no clue what they're talking about, of which the original poster also is.

And for those who are wishing his end, I believe theres much more that Steve can give to this world...
