- lpxxfaintxx2, on 06/06/2008, -17/+138I've been to WWDC last year, and it was awesome! The crowd was energetic, exciting products were announced, and the whole atmosphere was great! Of course, until the 'incident' happened. I packed up my luggage and got ready to leave the hotel room, when I noticed that I've been charged with things I have never requested at my room. I confronted the person behind the desk and he told me it would be taken care of ASAP. I wait 5 minutes, and still nothing. He told me to wait another 5 minutes while he gets his manager. 5 minute passes and I couldn't take it any longer! I left and I whistled for a cab, and when it came near, the license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror. If anything I can say this cab is rare but I thought now forget it, yo homes to Bel Air!
- jamesjgill, on 06/05/2008, -7/+101"The Future. Calling." - that's class
- princeofhb, on 06/05/2008, -4/+54There are a lot of new icons in that large wall poster.
- sonicularulus, on 06/06/2008, -3/+36if it was never covered in black tarps, its not worth anything
- turbod33, on 06/06/2008, -3/+36I haven't been Bel-Air'd in a while. Grats.
- dn11, on 06/06/2008, -1/+31this is the part where steve jobs waves his hand and the money flies out of your wallet like a jedi mind trick
- W0utR, on 06/06/2008, -4/+33I hope we get a "one more thing" this year
- lijamez, on 06/06/2008, -1/+25Maybe... that IS the cover and the new iPhone banner is underneath! :o
- tippmann1, on 06/06/2008, -5/+27thank you for that. not the best I've ever seen but thanks anyways
- Gernot, on 06/05/2008, -3/+24Actually most of them are known. What is noteable is the "Cocoa touch" icon and the "Accellerometer" icon which not only is weird because it is no app, but also because it even gets an extra banner of its very own on he second floor. It is, however, very well done.
- tracydanger, on 06/06/2008, -2/+23First time on digg?
- wonderchemist, on 06/06/2008, -5/+24But, where do you want to go today?
- bouche, on 06/06/2008, -3/+19holy *****. this submission and comments are dripping with nerd sweat.
- gllopc, on 06/06/2008, -3/+19Oh, I heard about you. Is it true that you pulled up to your house about seven or eight and yelled to the cabby "yo, home smell you later", looked at your kingdom, as you were finally there, to settle your throne as the prince of Bel-air?
- TheWorm, on 06/05/2008, -7/+21If they're going to release a new iPhone with a new look why are there so many huge banners with the image of the old (current) iPhone?
- killagorila13, on 06/05/2008, -5/+18Another great set of banners. Should be a great WWDC.
- fflis, on 06/06/2008, -1/+13your mom is covered in black tarps
- qpid, on 06/05/2008, -20/+31Getting excited over a couple of banners... sheesh
- saury316, on 06/06/2008, -2/+12TheWorm - I was going to ask the EXACT same thing...
Apple has always covered banners that displayed their new products.. if Apple is announcing a brand new iPhone, why is it so prominently displayed??
Maybe the new iPhone is going to be like an iPhone mini... or in reverse.. a iPhone Pro ?
and the existing iPhone will exist in looks but have some internal changes as well?
That could explain both all the rumors about a new design, and why the existing phone is displayed in the banners...
or there is no new iphone, and i should def. sell my stock in AAPL before the market gets wise to this :P - Shadowgamers, on 06/06/2008, -2/+12Apples' World Wide Developer Conference. Showcasing Apple technology to the 4 or 5 thousand people who could bother to turn up

- MrMetal, on 06/06/2008, -1/+6You're
- morningchai, on 06/06/2008, -3/+8Every year, I still get surprised by how hard it seems to be for people to take decent non-blurry photos of these kinds of things? I understand when it's in the middle of the a bustling geek crowd pushing back and forth to see the latest gear, but an empty hallway in the middle of the night with no one around?
- nestcrw, on 06/06/2008, -4/+9if you like your job, i would stop posting comments on digg. especially about apple related things. just saying.
- IsaiahCisneroz, on 06/06/2008, -1/+5I'd have to agree with Saury. The reason that it is so prominently displayed is probably because there will be a new iPhone but the old one will remain. More than likely two different version of an iPhone nano seeing as that Apple tends to make their products smaller and more efficient.
- fightzero01, on 06/06/2008, -6/+10i work at an apple store- they are rebranding it 'OS X Leopard and OS X iPhone'
- Flatlineskillz, on 06/06/2008, -2/+6Do you want to know more?
- digjam, on 06/06/2008, -6/+10Apple fanboys ...Here they CUM!
- ophello, on 06/06/2008, -0/+4Do you want to reach out and touch someone?
- homercles337, on 06/06/2008, -3/+7Hey look! Yet another Church of Apple circle jerk. Surprising...
- Zippo, on 06/06/2008, -5/+8Gentlemen, start your engines.
and by engines, I mean fap fap fap. - Seidoger, on 06/06/2008, -2/+5Or maybe the front of it looks the same.
Or at least the same on a simplified and stylized vector icon. - stopsucking, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2Hah! I don't know why but that made me laugh. Nicely played.
- MacTyler, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2yeah, we know, that's kinda why were digging it you dolt.
- amenic, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2Oh noes - if the over minds ever find out about this huge leak of information! The consequences could be dire.
- ObscuredCelery, on 06/06/2008, -1/+3This isn't even a story! Wow posters that carry Apple's current motif, I guess nothing unexpected means it's news worthy of the front page. I hate all digg users and the only reason I keep coming back for more is my self destructive personality.
- TheNeptune, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2CHARLIEEE!
- Protoss, on 06/06/2008, -3/+5Maybe because they don't feel the need to display the new iPhone since it will be fairly similar to the old one?
- knightboat, on 06/06/2008, -1/+3Would typing "fail" without the awkward cough emotes around it not have gotten your point across well enough?
- jakeabbott, on 06/06/2008, -14/+16um i have no idea what WWDC is. Could someone please clue me in?
- chadian22, on 06/06/2008, -1/+3blur adds suspense and mystery.
- digjam, on 06/06/2008, -0/+2I thought that was ...umm....sarcasm?
- gllopc, on 06/06/2008, -5/+7Developers, developers, developers, developers.... !!!
- equinoxChild, on 06/06/2008, -3/+5fingers crossed for something that's definite?
You're doing it wrong. - Seidoger, on 06/06/2008, -1/+3I don't know but it seriously makes me want to go to Brooklyn.
- JoeHammer, on 06/06/2008, -0/+1GDC 08 Banners were better.
