- kracker, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2This is `neat` but aren't we all well beyond sick of "podcasts" without a plain rss feeds.
*shrugs* cause it makes me angry every time I hear podcast only to find no feed, itunes feed or other non-standard method of content distribution.

Dry Cell - Body Crumbles - ashtonium, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Intersting, but anyone who checks the Onion already knows.
And what is this doing in the "apple" category? Should be in the "links" area if anywhere. Learn how to categorize. - LeFrenzy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Most podcasts are placed under Apple (iPod > iTunes > Podcasts), hence why I placed it there.
- Batiu-Drami, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0"This is `neat` but aren't we all well beyond sick of "podcasts" without a plain rss feeds. "
Yeah, press the 'Podcast' button and look what you have; an iTunes RSS feed. - netwookiee, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1"I'm amazed nobody posted this on Digg yet"
because the onion sucks! - ttntyler, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0The onion rocks!!!
- JoeDonH, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I love the Onion, and living in Wisconsin, I get the hard copy free every week.
- cosulliv755, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0yeah, I like the Onion a LOT, but no mp3 version of the feed, Ala theWeekInTech, is bad news.
No digg. - epotter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0big DIGG from me. that's waaay cool.
- accidental, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Gonna +dig this one. Love the onion and come on, is it a big deal if it is in itunes format?
- crazyman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Tight. Great news.
- bightchee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Is this the same feed?
http://www.theonion.com/content/feeds/radionews - Shoeler, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I wish I could read the onion. The asshats that control our firewall (US Army) Consider the Onion to be "illegal" - or so it says when I try to visit and get the websense message.
- nuclearpenguins, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0No mp3? ***** that.
- turbo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Why do sites tend have to hide the rss feeds? First we get the itunes link and the podnovas and all that crap. Do they think they're cool doing this?
- Benchmark, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There's gotta be an RSS feed. Can anyone find it? A yummy hero biscuit to the first one who answers.
- shiftt, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4DELTA CANCELS FLIGHT IN MID-AIR. 122 PEOPLE DIE
- turbo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Nuclearpenguins, the link above IS for mp3's: http://www.theonion.com/content/feeds/radionews
- Benchmark, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That would be the very special "polar bear in a snowstorm" blank page feed, then?
Oops wait: it works in iPodder, even though it looks like a blank web page. Tricky.
I feel shame. - neofactor, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I think the Category for all podcasts should be under LINK....
Your logic of "Apple (iPod > iTunes > Podcasts)" shows your limited experience with podcasting on a whole... the world is not revolving arounf apple and iTunes.
This is a LINK.... not and APPLE

"Love the onion and come on, is it a big deal if it is in itunes format?"
It is if you do not use itunes at all. I don't even have iTunes installed.
I use "Podcatcher on a stick" on my iAudio 5 mp3 player. - neofactor, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0KEVIN..... allow edits... Please!!!!!
- fishgeekva, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Way too short, but funny.
- phunlee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I think this is the most useful info I've read on digg in quite some time.
How does this relate to Apple, tho'? iTunes I guess. - chriscana, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yes, it is a "big deal" there is no easily available rss link. My TIVO, for instance, can import rss feeds for podcasts. No Itunes on my television (thank God!)
- kevinchai, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Why do people read fake news?
- mrfish, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0oh man, did we just digg effect the Onion... Nooooooo!

- mGee, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I seriously hate useless exclamation points. Stop it! It isn't that exciting at all. If it is for you, then perhaps you need to get out more.
- MalDON, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0I hate fake news. Its just a waste of time, paper etc.. Not only that but most of them are so GAY.

- posure, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0These are the same thing as the Onion commercials that have been playing on the radio here in Milwaukee for quite some time...they're pretty funny though.

http://returnofwhatever.com/ - fgump, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yes, they are in mp3. Once loaded in the QT player, right click and SAVE SOURCE AS.
The actual files are stored like this: http://www.theonion.com/content/files/radionews/06-005%20Apocalypse_Th.mp3 - tdog75, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Awesome! Stern doesn't play these anymore, glad to hear it
- VesperDEM, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Not much of a podcast at about 1 minute a day. With all the news items they have on their site, you would think they could come up with more than a minute a day...
- docsnavely, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0why do we feel that every new podcast by famous people/groups/websites need to be on digg?
- thrillho, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0cool, how do I unsubscribe from it?

- Recluse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Is there a non-itunes feed?
- LoredanaSF, on 04/03/2008, -0/+0Hey... I'm a big Onion podcast fan myself. I've recently discovered Lexy (www.lexy.com) - a service that lets you create a podcast playlist and will only play the unheard stuff for you, so I subscribed to it there. It's all web-based, no downloads and I like that I could call in with my phone to hear it... completely replaced my iPod.
