- wawilli, on 10/11/2007, -2/+31I saw the incident live. He did not really try to get away. He sort of like did a brisk walk into some lady. I think he did it to get on tv more than to have a nice shiny new microphone. I like what PacketBoy said. True iMoron right there.
- gamerzworld, on 10/11/2007, -0/+27He wasn't going for the iPhone, he was going for the mic. Listen to the audio. He says "Give me that ***** mic"
- PacketBoy, on 10/11/2007, -10/+24an iMoron if there ever was one
- CAP811, on 10/11/2007, -5/+19BEWARE: POINTLESS "BEWARE: FOX NEWS" WARNING
- yfph, on 10/11/2007, -4/+15Maybe he did it for the universal health care coverage they have down there.
- Puppetfunk, on 10/11/2007, -2/+12No he intended to get the microphone. He said "give me that ***** microphone"
- austinshea, on 10/11/2007, -4/+13yea i dunno why everyone's so down on him, that's really funny :D
- Atomic1fire, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9theft is a public service
liberalism at its greatest - Neiliosullivan, on 10/11/2007, -7/+15This is the only way we can stop fox news. We must take away their microphones.
I find it amusing that he was more concerned with shutting up the reporter that stealing a phone. - ThreeDee912, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8The iPhone AND Fox News in the same story!
- jedikv, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4wow silence something that has differing opinions to u? ok then mr facist
- GoblinJuice, on 10/11/2007, -3/+6The "I can't win in the marketplace of ideas, so I'll just shut the other guy up" method. GREAT! =)
- jedikv, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2conservatives/liberals/libertarians/commies/anachists/most digg users are all whiny pussies.
- SamuraiPanda, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4Actually, listening to it again I'm fairly sure he said "*****, thats the microphone." Implying he took the mic by accident.
- qwerty1024, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3I've decided, if I ever come across a Fox News journalist, im gonna steal his mic. I encourage everyone to do the same :)
- EvilFerret, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3If he went for the iPhone, it would have been a felony charge. Most likely they'll just call it a prank and he'll get a small ($1000 or so) fine, possibly 6 months of probation as well. Just depends on his record and the lawyer he can afford.
- damnyooneek, on 10/11/2007, -3/+5sucks for him he now has to spend the money he was going to use on the iphone for bail
- Schrade, on 10/11/2007, -3/+4I would say he did it because he's some crazed anti-Fox News person and you will shortly be seeing interviews of him on liberal blogs.
- ericdano, on 10/11/2007, -7/+8Stupid. Hope it costs this loser a lot of money to get his ass out of jail.
- RmaS, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1What a bitch, he should have run faster!
- Phocion55, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3What's an iPhone?
- Swift2, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3GUILTY of loving mankind, your honor. It was a FOX bimbo.
Oh, in that case, 15 second's probation and a free drink at the courthouse cafeteria.
General applause. - jedikv, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1justifying bad behaviour by pointing to other bad behaviour - wow you are a moron
- BitBurner, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1in the first video does he say "Give me the fking mic" and then.... "Your fking my system up" ??? Reminds me of "Whats the frequency Kenith"
- danwallace, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Nope, he definitely said "give me that ***** microphone."
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -6/+6Don't miss the video where the anchor admits about people being mad at Fox News.
Surely this fellow is not going to be the last one. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2If I was a criminal I'd go for the iPhone because I could sell it for more money than a mic. He wanted the iPhone.
- aurajunk, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0funny thing is that a cop from the 19th pct did show up in the beginning when i was there but i thought security personal took care of it because they walked the cop back to the car and he left.
However i think it was for a different reason because I overheard Ben saying that the camera guy assaulted him by tackling him down to the ground after he stole the mic and basically the cop said, "you two go different ways and it gets squashed."
Then some time later ben was taken out of line by (i guess its some security) security and had a long talk. After that, i just left, I had enough hype coverage for that day. - Darkness123, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1You would think Gizmodo could afford a better camera.
- jfsimard79, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1Isn't it "Get a brain!, iMorans"
- macewan, on 10/11/2007, -2/+1was that video captured with an iPhone?
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -11/+10Lesson to learn: Mess with Fox and you'll get F****
- V1ncent, on 10/11/2007, -6/+5The moron will be compensated for his lack of hand-eye co-ordination w/tons of free sex, courtesy of his large cell-mate...
- anteyekon4myst, on 10/11/2007, -4/+3Fox has Fanboys?
- CielChocobo, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0 BY LOUIETEHKID AT 03:38 PM

- zezerik, on 10/11/2007, -11/+7They should throw him in a Federal Pound-Me-In-The-Ass prison

- GoblinJuice, on 10/11/2007, -8/+4When you're #1, the losers of the world will hate ya. =)
- z1delon, on 10/11/2007, -6/+2His name is Ben Brodsky
- GoblinJuice, on 10/11/2007, -4/+0Yeah, ***** you too. =)
- fatloui, on 10/11/2007, -6/+2uhhhh... how is this a publicity stunt? It's not like the guy was working for apple to get more attention for the iPhone.
- bbear, on 10/11/2007, -5/+1Attempted robbery in the 3rd degree (a class D felony).
Attempted Petit Larceny.
Maximum jail time = 7 years. - zezerik, on 10/11/2007, -4/+0you watch it.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -6/+1Publicity stunts don't pay? Wrap your minds around the larger picture here - this whole thing was a publicity stunt, and not just by/for that one guy. How convenient was it to have cameras rolling exactly when the guy was being put into the patrol car?
- venom1221, on 10/11/2007, -8/+3who cares its fox
- LifeSaverS, on 10/11/2007, -12/+6you know a product is hyped when...
