Cool man - MellerTime, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8I agree. It's some pretty basic stuff, but it will certainly enhance your iTunes experience if you don't already know about them. I'll digg it...
- loki440, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Useless. The "tricks" here are really, really basic. If you've spent any time with the program, you'd know them.
- Phoenixfury, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I agree that most of this is basic although before this I didn't know how to transcode a Youtube video to my iPod. However more importantly they point to a transcoder that seems to transcode anything to everything else for just about anything including iPods. If this thing sucessfully converts a television program I recorded in hi def (dvr-ms) to the iPod format, I'll be hunting down the donate button for the programmer that made it. Even commercial software I have tried can't get it right. Hopefully this program can.
- BladeDanger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Does anyone even use Itunes any more?
- zigziggityzoo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Nothing about iTunes Visualizer hotkeys, media conversion methods and settings (within iTunes), adding 3rd party visualizers, and the like?
Try here for some cool tricks to teach iTunes:
http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/ipod_itunes/ - nunquam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"1. Add the Greasemonkey extension to your Firefox browser.
2. Go to www.userscripts.org and install the Download YouTube Video script.
3. The next time you watch YouTube, you'll see a Download Video option beneath the screen. Click it to save the file to your desktop or hard drive. Rename the file and save.
4. Install and launch the free video converter available at www.erightsoft.com.
5. Select "Apple iPod" from the Output Container option. It should automatically set the output video codec to H.264/AVC and the size to 320x240. Drag the converted file into iTunes, and it's ready for viewing."
Or
You could just get iTube ( http://www.benjaminstrahs.com/itube.php ) and do all that with one click. - imcquill, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1bury me
- Mootabolife, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1It taught my computer how to waste all of its ram and play dead. I guess it's time I got back at it.
