- Jagula, on 10/12/2007, -6/+21Jesus, how many front pages storys are they going to drain from this retarded, tired ass incident?
- Akaji, on 10/12/2007, -4/+18Make up your mind already!
- rauz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14Wow, check the comments on the flickr set, seems like someone confessed to being one of the people in the pics.
Do a Find in Firefox for "lucyevans" or just scroll down to the bottom...

- everfresh59, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Check out this poor fellow... He had his Mac stolen and is now begging the thief to upload a very important file that was never backed up!
http://montreal.craigslist.org/sys/308293284.html - potterboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Umm, it was a plug-in for photoboth, they probably didn't realise that it was automatically uploading.
- Dayyve, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Look at her eyes, she's baked.

Hi.
I would just like to say that i am one of the people in these pictures.
To clarify, we had no idea that computer was stolen, and are not even in possesion of it.
One of the other peoples friends from out of town was visiting, and we were just messing around on his photobooth.
I believe the computer may have been bought on ebay.
We have contacted topshop via the flickr to sort this out and try to get the pictures removed, as obviously it does not look good on our part. It can be damaging to family and friends, so it would be appreciated if the nasty comments could stop, as they are very hurtful.
Regarding the weed, this is in fact a roll up cigarette, and as for what appears to be somebody snorting something, i do not know as i was not present on this occassion.
Thank you.

*****, i saw a BLUNT, not a "rolled cigarette." I roll my cigs and also smoke weed; that is not tobacco in there! - MrCalifornia, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5mom?
- antdude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Who cares.
- Hackzaur, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That can't be good for Gizmodo, although they did say in one of their posts that they had contacted the owner...
- yosaito, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2If Luce Evans' story is correct then I feel for her. Whether or not anyone is smoking an illicit substance is academic, what you do in your own home is entirely up to you. I'm sure the people here who posted comments like "drug addict" have nothing to hide, and if found in similar circumstances wouldn't consider any of the pictures released embarrassing.
- nawzyah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Are those photos archived anywhere?
- inactive, on 12/23/2008, -0/+1i did not see those photos before. very interesting post.
http://www.babatek.com - NoHardFelines, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2if you know the people in the pictures then why would you rat them out?

*Yeah, Right* - casemon, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2That isn't a joint or blunt, it's an indian cigarette called in english a Bidi. It's a cigarette that westerners play a premium for, but are less than $0.01 apiece in India. The "herb" inside it is tobacco and the leaf is eucalyptus. Smells nice, decent smoke actually. - johnners, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1As well as being pretty cool anyway, that looks really nice with the enlarged logo. Good idea for a service, that.

- sp3kt4r, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2ok well I guess this is already old news since some one has confessed to it and the pics are hidden on his flickr account.
so I'm going to bury this post as inaccurate. - coldfusion1970, on 10/12/2007, -10/+6@ cawpin
You're right, shes very petty.

but when she opens her mouth...i threw up in my mouth a little bit.
http://gizmodo.com/photogallery//1699206 - bagelpirate, on 10/12/2007, -11/+5the hoax was a hoax?
- thrallie, on 10/12/2007, -7/+0One of the people in the flickr comments said she was in the photo's, and said a friend bought the laptop on eBay. She then defended the joint looking object in one of the pictures saying it was tobacco. Well..everyone then freaks out that they smoke weed. Sorry, weed doesn't make them steal *****, lets start BLAMING IT ON THEM, not a ***** plant.
- SwellGuy007, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1This still seems like an advertising scam.
Why would someone steal a shatbook and then sit there and pose while their images are being sent to Flickr? It seems like this is designed to get attention.
It's like ... "Hey look everyone, these things were stolen ... and by the way, look at the cool stuff you can do with it ... why even high profile fashion mavens are using it ... and by the way, it's a Macbook ..."
So, these are so cool that regular college kids will steal them and then have a great time using it ... IT STILL STINKS! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -20/+8 Who cares. The ***** laptops are gone. Move on with your life - We did.
(You left them laying around in the first place because...?) - RandomGuySteve, on 10/12/2007, -18/+4It's a Macbook anyways, no actual work was going to be done, just annoying Mac *****, like Myspace layouts, and itunes transfering.
- lcmatt, on 10/12/2007, -20/+6I'm in ur laptop stealing ur picx
