      OK, so I just checked the front page... several more were friends with baby, and every one of their friends were "active now!" oh well. time for sleep. Thanks again digg comment system!

        The layout of Digg is best of breed (kudos to the designers) and much of the content intersects that of other websites, so it works as a quick stop.
        But I find many of the results of the fundamentally populist 'digging' system to be.. about what one should expect from something that is fundamentally populist (or democratic, to use a more loaded term).

        The groupthink here is more virulent than that of Slashdot, and about 10 times more schizophrenic.

He got pulled over for speeding in an expensive car (a Porsche, I think), and between his young age, the value of his car and the fact that he had so much cash on him, the cops assumed he was a drug dealer and took him into custody until they could sort it out.

Numerous professionals (and not-so-professionals) have speculated and mulled, publicly and privately, over what has caused Steve to create a world sunk in the most abject superstition, fanaticism, and ignorance. To get immediately to the point, he dances to the tune of chthonic irrationalism. Once we realize that, what do we do? The appropriate thing, in my judgment, is to lift our nation from the quicksand of injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. I say that because feebleminded dips break the mind and spirit, castrate the character, and kill the career of anyone whose ideas he deems to be dour. That said, we mustn't lose sight of who the real enemy is: Steve Jobs and his contumelious admirers.

    As I've said before, Steve occasionally shows what appears to be warmth, joy, love, or compassion. You should realize, however, that these positive expressions are more feigned than experienced and invariably serve an ulterior motive, such as to steal the fruits of other people's labor. His victims have been speaking out for years. Unfortunately, their voices have long been silenced by the roar and thunder of Steve's cheerleaders, who loudly proclaim that Steve understands the difference between civilization and savagery. Regardless of those snappish proclamations, the truth is that he contends that principles don't matter. Excuse me, but where exactly did this little factoid come from? Lastly, I can't end this letter without mentioning that evidence exists to suggest that Steve Jobs spews out so many falsehoods, distortions, and half-truths, that rebuttal requires some lengthy documentation.
