- halfcockedjack, on 10/12/2007, -5/+34A Steve Jobs keynote at Macworld San Francisco? I'll alert the media... oh wait.
- Wandel, on 10/12/2007, -1/+23Announcing the true Video iPod 2-3 weeks after christmas? Yeah right.
- gabeN, on 10/12/2007, -6/+26In a related story, he plans to talk about Apple products and services.
- dohidied, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14Then you're probably going to be disappointed. January is not Springtime.
He'll probably unveil the top secret parts of Leopard, the iTV, and maybe some updated computers. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14i'm counting on being able to buy os x 10.5 right after his keynote
- thatgirlismine, on 10/12/2007, -3/+16Not to nitpick, but it's Mac OS X. Not MacOS X, or MacOSX, or *shudder* MAC.
- firsttube, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9What's funny, is it's entirely possible, contrary to your opinion. Nothing spurs sales like an announcement right after christmas.
- Pharaoh777, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Yeah, that 7% increase in performance and 0% increase in battery life by moving to Core2 Duo is putting them way behind...
- MrBabyMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8I'm hoping he'll announce a dual quad core 'Clovertown' Mac Pro.
- Stonedonkey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9I would like to see a separate Digg category for stories that speculate on Apple's plans. I like reading about Apple, but I don't care at all about the rabbits that Blogger Bob and Corky the Columnist are pulling out of their hats.
- theprez, on 10/12/2007, -6/+12No way! Impossible! I can't believe it!
- firsttube, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Believe it or not, this wasn't a given.
- higaara, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Apple did it with the iPod mini and the iPod shuffle.
- QueenOfSwords, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4True that... what with all the rumors going around about his health. This is good news.
- hotsoda, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Better yet, stop digging them.
- reichg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4it is coming out in march/april, so maybe preorder
- Wavey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4That's the machine I'm waiting to get. Yeah, it's most likely overkill for me, but still, damn!
- QueenOfSwords, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Actually this is very good news, Teh Steve booked for a keynote months in advance means his health is okay.
- SadPanda, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7That article...is...information-less...
- Universal, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5@ hotsoda
You don't have to digg something in order to comment on it. - oneshare325, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5If apple waits till this to update th macbook pro, they will be so behind the rest of the industry! A full year inbetween updates!
- davidod87, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4This will be an awesome keynote.
- Wavey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I wish my company would still send me to MacWorld for free. Alas, budget cuts slashed that long ago. Besides being informational, they were a lot of fun -- you could feel the energy in the air. That sounds like a Mac-fanboyism, and I'm not one, but seriously, that was the feeling I got when going to those things.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3they wont release a new product until i officaly buy "insert apple product" the next day, they will have a new verison of "insert apple product" and i will feel screwed
- manoftheisland, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i think he is saying that 10.5 might come out ahead of schedule
- firsttube, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5fullscreen video ipod fullscreen video ipod fullscreen video ipod!
(just doesn't have the same ring to it) - zetsurin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Let's put a ban on speculation until the evening before the keynote otherwise things are going to get (more) silly.
- macbookpromat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1MacBook Pro's will be getting a bump at that event. I'm alomst certain thats how it will work out.
Go Steve! - NewChar, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Fullscreen Video iPhone! Fullscreen Video iPhone! Fullscreen Video iPhone!
- Qoogirl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Well, let's look at the bright side: Apple will have to get its hardware up to speed with 64-bit because Leopard is 64-bit, right? So it's just a matter of when....? Probably. Maybe. Spring 2007, that's what I'll wait for.
- StatusQuoRules, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Overkill? I've got a Mac Pro for web browsing. Beat that! (mmm student discount)
- Cyberdactyl, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2This digg. . .FANBOY HEAVEN
- dkocolin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0holy *****, do you people have a boner for the "true video ipod" and the iphone? True video iPod rumors have been ciruclating about every show for over a year now. The iPhone since before the ROKR debut. Get over it.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2"Jobs to Keynote MacWorld San Francisco"
...And Apple sues MacRumors to find out which employee leaked this top secret information. - Qoogirl, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Did the Intel iMacs come out a few weeks before Apple scheduled them/told to the general public? I have it in my mind that they did, maybe it's a selective/wanting memory, though...
- bluemist, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Core 2 Duo has 64-bit extensions, Core Duo has only 32-bit. They're behind in that sense...
- reichg, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2i hate news postings like this, in case you didnt notice steve jobs annonces almost everything unless there is no event.
- heyy, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2steve bobs rules!
- Drewboy64, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3It's not like he didn't do it in 2005 and 2006 and..... get it? this is just a given.
- TheMysteryCow, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1This just in... water is wet! Weather and sports at eleven.
- Velocity211, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2Exactly what I was thinking.
- elShaggy, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1i lol'ed at clovertown.
I don't know why Apple would blow this holiday shopping season with out the Video iPod? - digiteyez, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0This is redundant! That aside I pray to ffffing god they bring out a phone! One that will sync with ical/addressbook, custom ring-tones, yadda yadda-
- greymaxcat, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1Steve who?
- Quix, on 10/12/2007, -8/+2Um, a comment is also technically a "digg." Hence the "+/- diggs" seen here, to my right. :)
- PTgirl, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1iPhone iPhone iPhone!
- firsttube, on 10/12/2007, -10/+1 You should call MAC and tell them to fix your ipod. :-P
(to those of you who don't get it, sod off) - NewChar, on 10/12/2007, -16/+7BREAKING NEWS: Apple to continue making iPods!
- unimatrixZxero, on 10/12/2007, -19/+2OMG stop spamming Digg with obvious stuff, please.
