    Because, honestly, what can you spend your money on after you reach a certain amount?
    Many rich people will just spend it on useless crap simply because they have more money than they can rationally spend.

    Yes he is enormously wealthy, but it is because of his stock holdings, not because of bonuses from apple.

If minimum wage covers salary only (not bonuses, options and other perks) surely Jobs would have to be paid at least $5 or so per hour?

  • BESTenemy, on 01/08/2009, -1/+3That is why taxing the rich doesn't amount to anything. Anyone that's rich enough to afford an accountant can find plenty of ways to escape taxation. CEO's have a good habit of taking stock options instead of salaries and then processing them further to pay less than the middle class guy does, bracket-wise.
