Software group to promote Macs in the enterprise

infoworld.com — A consortium of five companies has announced the creation of the Enterprise Desktop Alliance (EDA) to promote the deployment of Macs in the enterprise. The five founding companies -- Centrify, LANrev, Atempo, GroupLogic, and Parallels.

  • esausse, on 06/30/2008, -0/+1Mac hardware will be more efficient on the user level on the middle/long run (3 year) since hardware and software are designed to be totally compatible.
    The use of windows plateforms often are a short run vision of things and certainly is for productivity focused positions.
    Proof is that strategic plateform within the enterprise hardly are windows based, but linux (I'm considering servers here).
