Sneak Photos of WWDC Show iPhone, Leopard Banners
gizmodo.com — Reader Mark's brother just sent over this pic of an "OS X iPhone" banner found on the WWDC show floor in Moscone Center. It doesn't show a leaked 3G iPhone, but it does show that iPhone and Leopard will be a big topic next Monday.

If you look at the 3rd picture, the one on the left, there is something interesting...maybe...There is an orange app icon with a fingerprint on it, just below the iPhone. I've never seen this graphic element before, and certainly there are no current iPhone apps that use this icon.
The first thing that popped into my mind was that perhaps Apple will include fingerprint identification into the iPhone.
I know nothing about the technology, but if it was possible, that would totally rule. I'm one of those people too lazy to pin-protect my iPhone, but if I could lock others out and not do anything to unlock the phone because it read my fingerprint...well, that would really be great.- Scanner771, on 06/06/2008, -0/+1The icon with the fingerprint is the Cocoa touch icon.
