- synned, on 11/28/2007, -0/+17Apple really likes to hide all the fun stuff
- misxn, on 11/28/2007, -2/+12Are you sure you don't mean Summerboard and not Springboard?
- stormbreaker, on 11/28/2007, -0/+4No, he meant Springboard. Summerboard is an application that edits the Springboard. The Springboard is on every iPhone, hacked or not; it's your home screen.
- Moemar26, on 11/28/2007, -3/+7Yep, It was causing apps all over the place (email, safari, ipod) to crash. I uninstalled it, and problem was fixed. I'm all for homebrew apps.. but it'd be nice for a little stability. Releasing a program doesnt to do too much good when its completely unusable.
- luchid, on 11/28/2007, -2/+6Yeah. I like the touch dock better than the iphone dock myself. I wish Apple had included the option to switch between them somewhere in the settings menu.
- ocellnuri, on 11/28/2007, -2/+5I think misxn is right, deadbaby obviously meant Summerboard, not Springboard. I was having serious stability issues too. Now I'm running without Summerboard and everything's rock-solid.
- likwidfuzion, on 11/28/2007, -0/+3Installer.app itself doesn't do any of that.

- ghelton, on 11/28/2007, -0/+2dude, thank you so much. Worked perfectly, who would have guessed.
- deadbaby, on 11/28/2007, -1/+3Yes I did mean summerboard. I noticed if I hit the home button before locking the phone it reduces most of the crashes
- evangelion01, on 11/29/2007, -0/+1How do you use plusutil... i already tryed running from terminal, renaming to .zip, to .app, running it from the iphone via ssh.... nothing works... i jsut want that damn dock!
- likwidfuzion, on 11/28/2007, -1/+2I just changed the dock on my iPhone (i.e., #4 on the list). Looks much better than stock.
- jdoo, on 11/28/2007, -1/+2I fixed all of my crashing problems by setting "dim wallpaper" to "off". My phone went from apps and music crashing about 8x/day to about once a week.
- javajunkee, on 11/28/2007, -0/+1Agreed. Bad title, but what else is new on DIGG. Yawn . . . .
- darkfus, on 11/28/2007, -1/+1This is for iPhones that have been jailbroken. Which makes it really irrelevant since you should be able to mod just about anything at that point. Buried.
- deadbaby, on 11/28/2007, -5/+4Anyone else having stability problems with Springboard? Sometimes when I unlock my phone it just hangs and I have to power cycle the phone. It's a great app so I don't want to give it up but the crashing is stating to wear on my nerves.
- mb3581, on 11/28/2007, -3/+1i have an issue occasionally with apps just crashing out i think it has more to do with unstable installer.app programs. but overall i am very happy with the phone since i jailbroke it.
- rupertmorris, on 11/28/2007, -6/+1deadbaby: take it to an apple store or ATT.
- mb3581, on 11/28/2007, -7/+1installer.app is a lot easier and does most of those and a lot more...but still pretty cool
- inactive, on 11/28/2007, -11/+5Blah blah iPhone blah blah = Front page -->
