- miyamotofreak, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Definitely worth the $15. Two releases ago (when this was 0.3) it was useless. Now its my preferred money manager. All the features that everyone says are missing are being added as soon as possible and then some. Good job, Midnight Apps.

- joshuajames, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I've been using this program since .4, admittedly for about a month now. This is literally THE perfect money manager for me.
I tried using Quicken but found my Quicken profile would quickly get out of sync with my actual online statement because it simply takes to long to load up Quicken and add new entries. Additionally it wasn't the easiest thing in the world to add entries in the future. Given, I know that you CAN do it, but I don't really want to spend more than 30 seconds in my accounting software unless I'm actually reviewing stuff.
Quicken has a widget for quick entry but I found that kind of obnoxious also.
Cha-Ching has really helped me out by being a small straight-to-the-point app that not only shows me my current balance, but easily shows me what my balance looks like a few weeks into the future. It's been a month now and I haven't found it to be out of sync with my online transaction log once, unlike trying to use Quicken.
I'm aware that it's completely about personal preference. But I highly recommend this program if you are dissatisfied with Quicken. I know people will chime in with 'it doesn't do anything near what Quicken does'... but sometimes that's a good thing.. - Berry, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Cha-Ching is good software, but it is indeed quite obvious that they're trying to generate revenue by mentioning the word 'iPhone' in the title on Digg, which has really nothing to do with the software. Submitter Quagmire69 has no prior record on Digg.
Buried for spam. - lintmonkey, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1The first money I save will be from *not* buying Cha-Ching. Even if I'll "hate myself later." That's a consequence I'm willing to deal with.
When I get an iPhone, maybe I'll like myself again.
