Who's whining about not being in the spotlight? I couldn't care less if a single Linux or Windows story hits the front page on any given day. And what's more is that I'm not bothered by Apple stories either. What _does_ piss me off is the countless number of non-stories, rumors, rehashed Top 10 lists, and absolute bulls*** stories that flood digg and the fact that people digg these stories for their catchy titles and popular terms (Apple, Google, RSS, AJAX, etc.) without any regard to the quality of the story.

So does this mean that they will sell Simpsons on iTunes. 2 bucks isn't a ton, but would be 40 for one of their seasons. Pretty hard for me to do that when I'm used to free epps on Bittorrent.

Plus, Arrested Development would be much funnier than the Simsons/Family Guy at Macworld, most likely, the mac users there would be familiar with the show. You should be excited! Big things come out all the time! DOn't wait for Time Magazine to tell you what the next big thing is, investiage and get excited. Apple people do - we love these shows because we know big things happen and cool products are released.
Technology is a tool, but if you use technology, as an amature or a professional, being excited about new things should be a cool event. There is such a high concentration of Apple stories that hit the front page because, for whatever reason, Apple users obligated to digg EVERY story with "Apple," "Mac," or "Steve Jobs" in the title without actually reading the story.

Gee, either your conspiracy theory is right or... gasp... maybe marketshare statistics are skewed against Apple in exactly the way MacWorld and MacAddict have both reported on in the past.
