-The English Language - NiftyG, on 09/01/2009, -29/+331Mac fans should be careful what they wish for -- the more popular Macs get, the more people will want to break into them.

- inactive, on 09/01/2009, -32/+179What makes Macs safer then Windows? Not many people buy them.... making them less targeted by hackers. True story.

- rikwakefield, on 09/01/2009, -1/+119If your child is ever choking on ice cubes, do not panic, a jug of boiling water will melt the blockage in seconds.
- TBBucs, on 09/01/2009, -19/+137Wait...I thought Macs were 100% secure? You mean...the guy with the beard at the Genius Bar LIED to me?
- pintocat, on 09/01/2009, -1/+118The hard drive must be really heavy.
- eShinn, on 09/01/2009, -10/+125Wow, seriously? I'm an Apple fan-boy, but I find it intriguing that a Mac is hacked under 10-sec. At least a shed of light of reality. Fantasy sucks in that one is left vulnerable. I'm digging this story and applaud him for the effort.
Burying this story? Sad, sad... It's reality. It ain't so bad. - sooner82, on 09/01/2009, -5/+112yeah, but its such a shiny keyboard!
- ricodued, on 09/01/2009, -8/+112I'm not your guy, buddy!
- inkswamp, on 09/01/2009, -3/+94The contest is structured so that hackers try to break into the systems on the first day remotely with no help. On the second day, they get to instruct someone in front of the machine to do perform one action which means this exploit requires a certain degree of social engineering. This same PWN2OWN contest last year showed that all three major platforms (Linux, OS X and Windows) were all secure through the first day. To me, that's the real headline, but I guess in the day and age of platform fanboyism, it's going to degenerate into this.
