RadioShack to Emulate Look, Feel of Apple Stores
therawfeed.com — Deutsche Bank analyst Mike Baker said recently that he believes RadioShack plans to "REPLICATE THE LOOK AND FEEL" OF APPLE STORES in ten new stores that will be built by the end of the year, followed by 550 new stores in the next three years. Baker says he believes the new stores will "not invoke the RadioShack brand."

- WiseWeasel, on 07/18/2008, -1/+2Finally, I can pick out my LED diodes and random cables out of a well-lit brushed aluminum bin! No more will I have to look at cheap, crappy shelving when buying my cheap random electronic parts! Seriously, this hardly seems like it's worth the effort for the stuff they sell... unless they're just planning on turning into a basic cell phone and accessory boutique, which they do seem like they might be doing.
- Kallahan, on 07/21/2008, -0/+1Electronics parts are in a brushed aluminum bin now, and have been for some years. Though it is poorly lit.
- AssJuice, on 07/18/2008, -1/+2That store looks empty,, oh yeah its a RadioShack where they almost have what you need.
- B1663r, on 07/18/2008, -1/+1If I had a problem with radio shack it is that they fired the guy who brought them back from the dead because he lied on his resume...
- Kallahan, on 07/21/2008, -0/+1BWAHAHAHAHAHAA, he did more to ruin the company than anyone else. His boss brought RS into the cell buisness and he forsaked everything else for cell phones. He was just a drunk liar who brought RS's stock for $40 to $14.

- BOFH2, on 07/18/2008, -0/+1Radio shack is nice when you need something that no one else has or you need it now but most of the stuff is cheaply built. But they might get rid of some of the clutter.
- TwistedSilver, on 07/19/2008, -0/+1I'm sorry but that is just sad. If you are trying to make your self look like another company just to sell your stuff that is just sad.
- l800LEMMINGS, on 07/19/2008, -0/+1makes sense, they are said to sell iphones in the upcoming future. i personally support this idea and look forward to this compared to the way it was structured before but their top priority should be selling higher end products that would justify the high prices they usually sell at. If you cater to geeks first the rest will follow look at every tech based business model.
