RUMOR: Apple's WWDC 2008 to be held June 8-13

appler.us — Eagle-eyed MacDailyNews reader "Patrice" has done some detective work and found that the schedule of events for San Francisco's Moscone Center, the traditional home of Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), has one nondescript entry in June (WWDC's usual month) which just might give away the as-yet-unannouced dates for WWDC 2008:06/

  • newbill123, on 02/14/2008, -0/+2Usually WWDC is not kept secret for "surprise impact" (like announcing a new product) but due to the logistical problems of coordinating a huge event. This is a well-researched guesstimate and February is about the time Apple will finalize and announce WWDC plans, but don't book your plane tickets yet; it still could change pretty easily if the logistics work out better some other time.
