So if did apple did release it in China it would see very well around Chinese new year as people born in the year of the (insert your Chinese zodiac here) are meant to wear and be given red items at Chinese new year.
Anyway ipods are few and far between in China, I think i have seen maybe 4 or 5 people wear them, most people use their phone or the Chinese character specific MP3 players which are the size of the new shuffle and cost 1/3-1/2 the amount of a shuffle. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Or you can find a local modder/customizer who will throw automotive paint on it for half the price colorware charges. Even body shops will paint them if you take them apart.
Like I said before, colorware is nothing special. If they really want to make their painting stand out, they'd paint the touchpad (which is ok to do!) and the keyboard (a little harder because you have to re-mark the letters). - Falldog, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3want, not what >_
