BlueHost, who claimed to have been able to withstand a Digg Effect, evidently can't. If you can't get through try again in a few minutes and hopefully the CPU Exceeded error will go away.

I believe that the graphics capabilities of the iPhone/iPod touch are actually superior to that of the PSP and DS, in terms of processing power. I think that the iPhone really has the potential to becoming the third major computing platform (for consumers), along with Windows and OS X.
I mean, it's really UI and usability that has been holding back a lot of these devices, not features. There are tons of phones and music players with more features than the iPhone and iPod. The general consumers doesn't care. They want the features the device does have to work well and easily, something Apple is definitely good at. It's interesting to see where this will go. The rise of Safari to the number 1 mobile browser so quickly is probably pretty telling of where this could go. It's not really THAT demanding.

- Maver1c, on 04/06/2008, -1/+8I have to disagree, fps games, especially quake 3, are all about movement and control. They've basically turned an amazing FPS into ***** point and shoot like metroid prime for the DS. Quake 3 and other games like it are all about strafing and faking out your oppenent, and it's clear that moving with the iTouch can't handle that all. That being said, I still think that this was a cool video =)
