Psystar accuses Apple of anti-competitive tactics in counter
appleinsider.com — Itself attacked for allegedly violating Apple's licenses, Psystar made offense its best defense on Tuesday when it filed a countering lawsuit in federal court, accusing the Mac maker of unfairly squeezing out possible rivals.

No way! If you'll excuse me I'm going to go load my ipod full of music from itunes. . . because it won't take files from anything else!

- elliam, on 08/27/2008, -1/+3Knowing that your operating system is going to run on a specific set of hardware is a huge benefit. Part of Apple's problem is that they don't want their brand, which is obviously massively important to them, to be diluted when the ***** that has OSX shoehorned onto it craps out constantly due to cheap, poorly made hardware. This is part of Microsoft's problem: their OS has been designed to run on just about anything, which means it will be. The result? Instability issues when your generic $10 network card acts up.

- Wilddigi, on 08/27/2008, -0/+0If Apple losers, it's a win for Microsoft, DELL, Sony, etc. Because no one will buy a real Mac and people will go back to Windows, because of the Psystar junk running MacOSX. New people will buy it and get turned off
