  • gumigecko, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1whoever designed the window layouts must have been taking something pretty crazy; do the windows really light up, you'd think that would get annoying. Also, who's paying for all these projects and with what money?
  • diggerdubai, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1the people paying are the developers, and i guess with their own or borrowed money on the premise that they can sell most of the apartmetns off-plan and thus make back most the money it's going to cost to develop it and a nice tidy sum on top - so the theory goes.

    These projects can get into trouble because you can't use some normal guy to build a leaning tower thus it will cost lots to do. If the intial sales don't go according to plan then you will be short of money to develop the tower and thus face delays etc this has happened to a few projects in Dubai
