- streak, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Last I knew, Oracle doesn't even have a handle on what products it sells, so how do you expect the company to update them?
- pauldy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2If your using oracle you should be smacked in your fat head. They haven't offered anything worth wild since the late 90's. Move on already.
- coderifous, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1You are correct. But I'm on a government contract with a legacy system using Oracle. Until I can get the US government to move to Mysql (working on it) I'm stuck. At least I'm using a mac. In the mean time, I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore. This is one mans rage against the machine. So, digg it for ***** sake. After it's been respectably dugg, I'm going to post the digg link to the forum and send emails and see if public embarrassment does anything for their motivation. Do it.
BTW - my head is just big boned, dick. - coderifous, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0I know, how silly of me to expect equal (or even superior) support from a multijillion dollar company such as that I can provide myself for free using an open source alternative. Compile a client lib? CRAZY TALK.
