- tnatharik, on 10/10/2007, -0/+30OMG, you created a blog for that.
- indorock, on 10/10/2007, -1/+27blogspam whore
- awhiteflame, on 10/10/2007, -3/+14Because the amount of PC users buying Zunes is sooo significant.
/hide - briansearles, on 10/10/2007, -4/+15iPods are overrated, so what.
- 0x0000ff, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9That was pretty eloquent :)
- Temoshi, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10I wonder if OS X will ever support Zunes...
- chubbybubba, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Come on... its a joke... its funny.... Apple fanboys are maybe taking this a little too seriously!
- lordtyros, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6if I were Microsoft, I wouldn't waste my time making the Zune Mac compatible. Mainly because Mac users tend to have a stronger loyalty to their OS/computer manufacturer than do PC users. The number of Mac users who would buy a Zune over an iPod is so small as to be insignificant.
- supermajic, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Some people just go too far to get a story on Digg. It wasn't even a good one either. Anyway, it's a crappy story and the image is still on http://msn.com and the story is here http://music.msn.com/music/article.aspx?news=270816>1=7702.
- tehpwnrate, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6I'd find an article about how stupid the Mac attack ads against Windows are much more interesting. (I'm not denouncing the Apple computer, I'm just saying that the ads are horrifically untrue and ridiculous)
- acid0426, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4MSN is surprisingly unbiased some times. They positively reviewed the PS3 and called it groundbreaking and an excellent console. And to be honest, everyone knows the PS3 is a bigger threat to the 360 than the iPod is to the Zune, because the Zune is nothing. (coming from a Zune owner, who likes his Zune but doesn't mind iPods either)
- mattfugitive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Well Duh!
- edzilla, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3yeah, but the article itself is crap. Noise pollution didn't start with ipods.
- quinlan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I can see them but they don't look like shadows on a tie-dye background.
- chetanthaker, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Mirror please :)
- fkr3, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Given that the iPod is practically synonymous with "MP3 Players" in the sense that Google is synonymous with "search"... it's no surprise they just said iPods instead of MP3 players. It looks like they're actually attacking their "singing users" rather then the device or Apple as well.
- danielwsmithee, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2If anything it has improved since the ghetto blasters of yore!

Sorry for the comment abuse. I, personally, don't like the iPod but that might be because I don't like people using the term 'iPod' to describe all MP3/MP4 players. - mal1964, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Some see humor others see hate. and some see more than that
- theiss, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Ya, it's called a driver. Here's your hardware. Here's the driver for it for your operating system. It's not Apple's responsibility to support third party products.
- pkulak, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1MSN, Yahoo, etc, are hilarious. Every single word on their front pages is a thinly veiled add. "Buying an MP3 player, if you must." Sounds like a good, unbiased review to me!
- jtorkbob, on 10/10/2007, -4/+4Well, let's face it, you've already invested in that snazzy looking Mac, you might as well get a player that matches it. Personally, I build my own gear, I could care less how it looks, and I can't imagine paying more than $50 for a device to play music.
- Goatman, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1I wouldn't say they're untrue.. (some are) but some of them are pot calling the kettle black.
Vista's Security Controls (cancel or allow) = Mac asking for your password all the time
PC crapware not on Mac = FALSE, I believe my Mac came with lots of software that takes of lots of space, or are demos (ie. Office Demo, Omni Outliner, Big Bang Games (or whatever it was called)
Vista Versions = only confusing for those who are brain dead
Windows less reliable with devices = FALSE! if anything backwards, there are alot more peripherals that work with the PC, and not the Mac.
Better Digital Media software on Mac= FALSE! Vista's included apps Movie Maker, WMP, Photo Gallery are all just as good as iLife
I use both a Vista PC and a MacBook every day, Only Apple Fanboys believe all the Apple hype. - thesergie, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0i'm actually surprised...
- Quix, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1Windows-based PCs typically come loaded with crapware = true
Windows-based PCs have more problems with viruses and spyware = true
Vista's security controls (Cancel or Allow?) are intrusive and annoying = true
Vista comes in a confusing number of versions = true
Windows is less reliable with device connections (i.e. digital cameras) = true
Macs come with better digital media software (photos, digital video, etc.) out of the box = true
So please tell me where *you* find all the fallacies in these ads. Methinks you've never used a Mac to give you the proper perspective on these claims.
I use both Windows and Mac, and while Apple obviously highlights the weaknesses of Windows-based PCs for dramatic effect, I find the claims true. They are hardly "attack ads." They're ads that point out competitive strengths of the Mac platform.
All the accusations I hear about these Get a Mac ads being "horrifically untrue and ridiculous" are, well...horrifically untrue and ridiculous. - shrimp199, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2did you expect to see an ipod add?
- twrife, on 10/10/2007, -4/+2This isn't exactly new...
- LukyJay, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1Nice, your frist blog post made it first page of digg :)
- soulflakes, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0"clinically retarded" - Spend some time working with Apple and you'll see what clinically retarded really means.
So what on the whole thing - Redemption289, on 10/10/2007, -4/+1Don't you mean "if Zunes will ever support OS X." I have a Zune and love it, but I hate microsoft because they just may be clinically retarded. I really wish they would see that releasing support for their devices to OS X and Linux only helps, not hurts them. They haven't quite figured that one out yet, but maybe some day /sigh. Also is it really a surprise that Microsoft hates the iPod? Pretend like you were competing with a company you were afraid of...
- bullsfan03, on 10/10/2007, -6/+3I never see people dancing in the streets, singing along with their ipod like the picture suggests. Funny.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -8/+3Oh no!!! They posted an article about MP3 players on their news site!!! NO!!!
- Thrawn101, on 10/10/2007, -8/+1You don't??? That's surprising...
- awesomelin, on 10/10/2007, -16/+5seems to me like you are a apple fan homosexual blog making piece of dirt
