- toetagger, on 08/01/2008, -0/+3After review, it's back. But be careful - The AT&T plan in the US is not really "unlimited" it turns out, but capped at 5GB and VERY costly if you go over.
- rebotfc, on 08/01/2008, -0/+2This is the problem with the AppStore, apple has complete and total control over all applications and will squash any app that is not in the interest of itself or its partners.

From what I have read of the research in to this, there *IS* a 5GB cap.
It is only for bookkeeping purposes though.
According to a VP in AT&T, after 5GB, the customer is charged nothing for every MB over, but it actually shows up in their computer system as 10GB, with 5GB at $0.00 extra.
I think AT&T is trying to keep tethering from the iPhone and probably has control over Apple through their agreement.
Either way it sucks - foresmac, on 08/01/2008, -0/+1If that's true it's complete *****. A 5GB cap is a limit, and therefore it is simply a lie to call it unlimited.
