NBC’s Olympic streaming for MS Windows Vista users only

2008gamesbeijing.com — NBC is offering complete streaming of the Olympics over the internet for the first time ever. It is great news for people working office jobs to be able to watch it from their desks. Unfortunately, it will only be available to Microsoft Vista users. To make it even worse it will only be available to the Home Premium and Ultimate editions of Vista!

  • dpeach, on 08/08/2008, -0/+0From what I have heard, even though Silverlight works on other versions of Windows and on Mac, they are specifically making the Olympic streaming version for just Vista Premium and Ultimate. Idiots!

After all the EXCLUSIVE deals that Apple has managed to broker with media and entertainment companies, it'd be nice to have an exclusive for the rest of us, even if it is just this one time. But alas, Nekura20x6 is correct, Silverlight is available for Mac:
