More TV shows now available on iTunes Music Store
phobos.apple.com — There are now many TV shows available from NBC, ABC, Sci Fi, and USA on iTunes Music Store . Including Battlestar Gallactica, The Office, Law & Order, Monk, as well as many classics. And for all you Hasselhoff fans out there (he's soooo dreamy), 22 episodes of Knight Rider.

- meekar, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0... not liked I'd buy them -- but awesome nonetheless!!!
- manfesto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Battlestar Galactica, Law and Order, Monk, The Office - hell, they even have Knight Rider. I'm slightly closer to actually buying an episode of TV off of iTunes now that they have some shows worth watching (well, besides Lost) - but it still somehow doesn't feel quite right downloading something that I do/have taped (except my tapes are crappy SLP VHS).
But their selection of Conan sucks. Two bucks for some twelve minute clips, and the two Conan DVDs for $10 a piece - why not offer full episodes the day after? - meekar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0There's some series with no episodes in their database yet ... looks like Apple isn't done implementing these new networks.
- geoboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I find it very interesting how they are offering two hour long Conan O'Brien specials for 9.99 each. Looks to me like Apple is gradually getting closer and closer to a movie distribution model...
- Carbito, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Interesting, I wish that they would offer this on their international stores.
- meekar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@geoboy
wow, when I fist saw this that wasn't there -- very interesting! - ThinkBox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Vintage rocks
Wow, Dragnet is back! And other vintage shows - This is just like 1956 Hollywood television! all the pre-48s are now vintage NCB - any other film nuts know what I'm talking about? - CheapDigWannbe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0future...
shove this.. damn cable companies. Buying for what you want to watch. - ihatekevinrose, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0conan, triumph star wars special
- Rndm_Tngnt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hitchcock presents! If only it was higher res, I'd buy some!
Oh well.
I'd get the talk shows if they were free or low-cost subscription, even with ads.
And Sci-Fi has such an awesome back catalog. Sliders is well worth 99cents an episode, come on! - _HAM_, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Crappy. Its good to see the content. But I wouldn't even consider buying them unless they were offered at around 1/3 the price they are asking.
- moisie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It amazes me that even if tv companies are worried about losing revenue on their big/current shows by having them for download and therefore losing advertising revenue, that they don't just put up the myriad of shows that got cancelled after only a handfull of episodes. It's not as if many of them will ever come out on dvd, it doesn't cost them anything really, and since it's a new market you're likely to get a load of idiots downloading them just because they can.
- Devin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1SCORE! Battlestar and Monk, two of my favourite shows on right now!
- ajamison, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is very cool. And definitely a step in the right direction....But more still needs to be done.
These networks should have their entire catalogs up there....And I'm still not completely sold on the 1.99 price point. But, once again, I'm glad iTunes is actually stepping out there and practically forcing entertainment companies "deal" with the internet. - unknownsoldier, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1no scrubs?! no thanks!
- CPedison, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This rocks. Go BSG!!!!
- sych0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0$10 for a Conan special?! Damn
And they need whole episodes of jay leno plz :/ - macboy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1haha, stupid CBS
- aresef, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0So this is why they were so eager to sue Tivo.
- crazyman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Not bad, but goddamnit it's too expensive.
- KissTheRing, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0$1.99 for 12 min of Conan? I'll buy when its $1.99 for the full show, they sell an episode of Lost for $1.99 and it is roughly the same length of time.
- gpig, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2need in uk pls! along with complete BBC archive, i dont think thats 2 much to ask for!
- daj198, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I agree.... I would like to download stargate atlantis, but I can't. Have to get illegally- that's obviously what they would prefer us to do!
- OsakaWilson, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1No digg until they let people out of the country buy shows. What better market than the people who can't tune in to the show for free. But they won't give us access. Go figure.
- khintzma, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2**Ahh,
**Ahhhhh,
**AHHHHHH (about to sneeze)
***Choo-Bitorrent! - joshpape, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Waiting for TV shows to come to the Uk. All we have are pixar shorts and music videos.
- RapidEye, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0LOL - all of the BSG, including the Pilot Miniseries have been floating around on the Podtropolis Torrent for a while now -
- LeFrenzy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0we need Daily Show episodes on this, and for $0.49 each. It would sell like madness.
- Bookwrym, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0At work and cannot open iTunes. Does anyone have a full list of the shows now available?
- emiliano, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Pretty cool. I'm using it right now to get BSG "The Farm" (the torrent version I got before had some kind of error) and The Office S2E6 (again, torrent version had an error).
- forgeflow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Apparently this is only for the US Apple Store. No shows at all are available at the Canadian Apple Store. Rats. I would have bought all of the BSG episodes on the spot. Guess I'm forced to getting them the old fashioned way. :)
- amjustice, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0No Earl, No Digg
- corkster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Earl, as in Earl Sinclair, from Dinosaurs?

Man I remember watching these as a tot. Downloading the first episode as I type this.... Quality of the preview looks nice too. Open up the archive more NBC! - thorpus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I think it is great that they are adding more shows. These aren't the shows I would have necessarily wanted. I might try some of these shows though just to give them a show.
- siouxmoux, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What no CFH 2.0 or tWiT??
- Kvetch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I have been waiting for BSG online. Ever since I stopped paying for digital cable I have missed having SciFi and have been forced to get torrents.
- CLIFFosakaJAPAN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Congrats "chasew70", you scooped us all on this one!! Great Find...
- Blizaine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The Office!!! Awesome!
- supperman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I don't know why people even bother to buy these low res videos that looks horrible everywhere except on iPods. Honestly, when people are moving into HD era, how are these tiny videos even considered good value? It's obvious that Apple is only doing this to sell iPods, and if they start having larger screens, they'll start selling higher rez videos, then people with low rez videos will have to re-buy their videos again. Buy it for the novelty sake, but people who seriously invest money into getting a library of content, well... I can only pitty them.
- ozjmu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@khintzma
**Ahh,
**Ahhhhh,
**AHHHHHH (about to sneeze)
***Choo-Stealing! - evansls, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Make no mistake about it -- apple will seperate the TV downloads from the music store into a "video store" (or a tv store although that sounds lame) in the coming months.
- xioner, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hmm.
Still wouldnt buy quite yet... I want higher resolution, season subscriptions, and to have an easy way of backing it all up onto DVD, incase my HDD fails. There is also just something nice about a DVD.... I had the whole of Firefly from BT and ended up buying it because A) I wanted to support the series, and B) I wanted the nice DVDs, instead of a few cheep burned files.
Glad to see expansion though... if they add a few more payment options, up the resolution, and keep adding content.... this could be a good thing. - enumerated, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Now only if they had the A-Team
- redrighthand, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What the Hell is NBC doing with LEno? % minute segments for $1.99
I didnt donwload it for free why would I pay 2 bucks per 5 minutes? Get in line Leno your whole show for $1.99 or nothing - dansmusings, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0A-Team would Rock!
- Danathar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Until they officer at the very LEAST 480p versions of their shows I just can't see PAYING for a show at 320x240....that's so....90's...
- ellingswin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is great, Because now that NBC has put all this content on they have set the bar for other providers.
- _skin_, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nightrider and The Office... It is a dream come true!
