    My G4 iBook (one of the new 14 inch models that just came out in September) has all solid white molded plastic, not the painted clear plastic like the one in this article. I was actually a bit surprised because I never knew that the iBook ever had that painted clear plastic case. I think it is a bad way of doing it, but it does seem to be a pretty convenient thing for modding them like this.

  • FriedGeek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yikes! I like the idea of it but man that bottom coat sucked. The G4s are built differently than the G3s. The G4 iBooks have a 'solid' white plastic case rather than the reverse painted clear plastic. It's to bad MAC SKINZ don't make... uh... Mac Skinz anymore. (Just iPod stuff)

    Or how about if somebody went to a site about religion, and constantly posted complaints about all the Jesus articles? And they constantly pushed their anti-Jesus agenda? And they were so obsessive about it that they kept posting comment after idiotic comment to try to bug the people that don't care at all about what they think about Jesus?

    I have modified Mac and Windows machines myself (poorly). For my rendition of the iBook G3, I removed the white paint and printed a picture I also modified featuring a blue watery planet with a figure rising out or that water with blots of lightening shooting from his hands that stop at the glowing Apple logo on the iBook. I added a caption to the bottom of the screen reads 'In the beginning, God created Apple...And it was good'. The original can be found on www.digitalblasphemy.com
