"Microsoft's new iPhone"? BIG Newspaper mistake!
news.com.au — If you look at the first paragraph in this link, the story goes: "HACKERS have unlocked Microsoft's new iPhone, allowing it to be used by any network." All I have to say is, good game.

- ZaZ2137, on 10/10/2007, -4/+0I want to smack that look off of him its like an, "Yea ***** you look what I did I had anal sex with my boyfriend even though you told me not to" look.
- Scaryclouds, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2He can unlock an iPhone, but unlocking the clasp on a bra is a whole different ball game..

- LMaxey, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5if you haven't associated the words Apple and iPhone then you probably shouldn't work with a newspaper

- shunpike, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6i use it - in fact i am using it now, but only becuase Vista and FireFox arn't agreeing 4 me at the moment and i can't be arsed to download Opera.
- Chicken001, on 10/10/2007, -8/+4UBUNTU.
- IEatHamburgers, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I have the same damn problem! And it used to work just fine, so I'm thinking it's probably a screwup at Mozilla and not Microsoft. Can't wait for an update that fixes it.
You might want to try starting Firefox before starting *anything* else when you boot up. It's usually more likely to load.
- diggimator, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Safari 3.0 was horribly not ready for a release. Safari 3.0.3 is much more decent. Both are beta releases.

- mglmouser, on 10/10/2007, -3/+7Or paid for. I can't imagine anyone would make that mistake with all the pompous fanfare there's been since the launch. It's about as uninformed as anyone could be.

- mascot4hire, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5correction: it's a non respected newspaper from Melbourne in Australia
- voyvf, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3if it was respected before, it's not anymore. :D
- deridder149, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1A tabloid is a newspaper that is a page half the size of a broadsheet. The term refers to the size of the thing. The Herald Sun *IS* a tabloid, you can't deny that.

Photographer: "Okay, great. Now, just for fun, look deranged as possible... *cilck*... Perfect. Thanks."
Reporter: "You're going to use that last shot aren't you, just to be a dick."
Photographer: "Yep." - Trention, on 10/10/2007, -9/+75OMG a mistake in a newspaper! OMFG FTW!
- Myonosken, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Indeed. Why the ***** is this here? It says Apple all over it, but makes a single mistake.
- DrMickhead, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11When newspapers so prestigious as the Herald Sun are making incredibly minor research errors, you know the whole system is crashing down.

Buried as inaccurate. - ElectricDoodie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Even you girlfriend thinks he is ugly? Does that mean she will go out with anyone, and doesn't think anyone is ugly? Might as well have said, "My girlfriend goes out with ME, and she still thinks he is ugly!"
- trance, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1" . . . wear a paper bag."
I think it's mean and pointless to attack people and it makes the world a darker place. How do you feel about yourself after making a comment like that? Any better?- bstew22, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1lol. ...said the ugly person.
- joshuaer, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Mistakes happen i can understand that but did any one look over the article at all before sending it to print, that is an easy mistake to catch.
- antdude, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I didn't see the error until I read the title. :)
- Pensador, on 10/10/2007, -4/+2Priceless.
- neofactor, on 10/10/2007, -3/+22I think the News is just so use to say "Hacked" and "Microsoft" in the same sentence that it was just reflex. Way to go Fact-Checkers! At least "bad" news for apple... is spun to be a Microsoft flaw. Apple PR really know how to spin stuff!
- Sidzilla, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Just goes to show you that there is no difference between Apple, Microsoft, Google, HP, etc. to 90% of the world. Large tech companies are large tech companies. They don't care about the massive Apple vs Microsoft debate that rages on in most internet sites. Should we educate them, or just tell them that we are here to put the magic smoke back in their computers?
- VenturerX, on 10/10/2007, -13/+0I bet that Microsoft Paid that newspaper company to "accidently" write that. Hate it when business do "Viral Marketing"!

- chrysb, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Is this newspaper considered a major newspaper in Australia? Otherwise, who cares.
- mascot4hire, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1yes one of the big two here in melbourne but still considered pretty *****.
- Myonosken, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2"in melbourne" Jesus that's like saying the Sheffield Advertiser is a major UK newspaper because it's one of the big two in Sheffield. He meant national.
- acceleration, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Yes, but when a country has only two main cities, I think that qualifies the main newspapers froms those cities as "major newspapers".
BTW, the Herald Sun is not a national newspaper, being only distirbuted in Melbourne - the only national paper is The Australian.
