And the MacWorld onslaught starts...
A story about COVERED BANNERS?!? My lord this week is going to be a rough week on Digg... Guys im a big fan of Apple myself, but this is just too much, a friggin story with 26 diggs about a picture of a covered banner at macworld? Jesus Christ. I think my digg vacation for a week will start tonight. - MacnCidar, on 01/14/2008, -4/+36Is that the Ark of the Covenant in that crate?
- alchemist27, on 01/14/2008, -3/+22Remove Apple from your categories and stfu while the rest of us enjoy these fine banners.
- AtHomeBoy2000, on 01/14/2008, -0/+17iArk.... God Done Apple Style... easier user interface... no pesky demon viruses... Make God Cool Again
- MetisElara, on 01/14/2008, -4/+20You WISH you could stay away for a week.
- breakerjump, on 01/14/2008, -7/+22A Mac-only game that windows 'kids' would die for is called "Getting ***** Done". Another one I like is "Earning a Living".
Buy a ***** XBox. - CraigJ, on 01/14/2008, -1/+10then why are you cruising the Apple section?
- flipmeat, on 01/14/2008, -0/+7Not since 2003.
- JoeDiggsIt, on 01/14/2008, -3/+10I read the comment I wrote and decided it was stupid.
- mindsnare, on 01/14/2008, -0/+7yet you still feel the need to comment on it?
- inactive, on 01/14/2008, -0/+6...until your computer company redesigns and/or renames their products to look like Apple's a year later.
- cheddarbek, on 01/14/2008, -3/+8A person in California says 'Macworld' at a server in Italy crashes. Its the tech-butterfly effect.
- JoeDiggsIt, on 01/14/2008, -4/+9Yeah, because we all know hundreds of innovating products are nowhere near the importance of a few maybe innovative products.
- JoeDiggsIt, on 01/14/2008, -1/+6Remove the equally large stick from your anus and let us have your fun.
- jkirk7msa, on 01/14/2008, -4/+9This is the ***** I digg.
- Dylson, on 01/14/2008, -0/+4I can't.
- blup3ace, on 01/14/2008, -1/+5in the minds of the fanboys, yes...
- daskatzsocrates, on 01/14/2008, -0/+4They had one once, I think it's called Halo now..
- zydeco, on 01/14/2008, -1/+5Try Engadget. I hear they're pretty quiet during MacWorld.
- chrislee149, on 01/14/2008, -0/+4Amazingly enough, yes, Macworld is an annual event.
- inactive, on 01/14/2008, -4/+7Whatever happened to new games coming to the mac? I wish apple could either pull that off, or have some people develop some mac only games that the windows kids would die for.
- inactive, on 01/14/2008, -1/+4yes, buy a console or reboot into bootcamp IMHO
- Weaselboy, on 01/14/2008, -0/+3You have angered the Apple Gods.
- inactive, on 01/14/2008, -4/+7Let me tell you a quick Microsoft story then you can digg me down:
Up until about a year and a half ago Microsoft was working with Walmart on a wireless movie download service since something like 75% of te population lives within 50 miles (some kind of statistic like that) that posted the Wifi movie transmitters in/on the Walmart building and then MS kicked dowm some money to WM for every movie someone downloaded through this service. For some reason it was canned but it was very close to becoming a reality. The NDAs are now all lifted and you might find some word about this on the internets. As I live 5 miles away from the Microsoft campus it's pretty easy to find people who work there that like to brag about their jobs.
Since Apple is hanging these "Something's in the air" banners and they own iTunes and there is a Starbucks within 25 feet of 90% of the population....
Nah. Probably just a larger iPhone. - inactive, on 01/14/2008, -5/+7I know, and it comes earlier every year, too. I mean, all the stores took down their holly and started playing Macworld carols like the day after Christmas!
- Legolover64, on 01/15/2008, -0/+2A HUGE thing that we should look at when seeing that garageband shot is the small resolution.
ultraportable? - InsMan, on 01/14/2008, -0/+2I will make a prediction - I bet that something in the air has something to due with Itunes or Ipod content being available on certain airlines - anyone agree?
- definetheline, on 01/15/2008, -0/+2Hey, there is going to be live vieo coverage of the keynote at
http://cunning.tv - ProAm500, on 01/14/2008, -0/+2no, no, no....
we all know its the Giant Snake woman from "The Golden Child" - RIAAagent, on 01/14/2008, -0/+2Is each macworld this big?
What was the biggest macworld of them all? - LennyX, on 01/14/2008, -2/+4Am I the only one that thinks this whole 'There's something in the air' thing is about Apple been greener & reducing carbon emissions and the like?
Makes sense to me. - shawnanigans, on 01/14/2008, -0/+2I hate to not comment on the story but when during the event will the keynote be?
- inactive, on 01/14/2008, -0/+1Don't talk *****.
- Weaselboy, on 01/14/2008, -0/+19 AM PST.
- herbstblatt, on 01/14/2008, -0/+0Well, I am more on the "MacBook Air" rumor side. Your guess seems quite reasonable as well, though...
- inactive, on 01/14/2008, -4/+3That's why in the all the Mac vs PC ads, the PC is a professional banker and the mac is a guy who lives with his parents and makes videos on his mac for youtube.
- romistrub, on 01/14/2008, -2/+1"let us have your fun"... sexytime
- starlord1, on 01/14/2008, -2/+1Come on it's obviously an Apple Plane, the iPlane the centre of your digital travel system ?
- darkphenox, on 01/14/2008, -6/+4Hey I can play those on my PC as well, and games too, its great.
- tdous, on 01/14/2008, -4/+1Just before the giant collective arc of semen blasts into the air and falls back to the ground drowning SF.
- Sophistifunk, on 01/14/2008, -5/+1Apple Integrated Runtimes... Look through your Windows(tm) and see the Air(tm)... Built in VMWare?
- darkphenox, on 01/14/2008, -7/+1It seems like Apple dose this every year.
- JasonBartholme, on 01/14/2008, -9/+1This week on Digg: Ron Paul Vs. Apple Fan Boi Rumble... Who will waste the most home page space?
Seriously, I hope Apple announces the ultra-portable series for laptops. - Greer70, on 01/14/2008, -9/+1It's new Mac Air. It's better than Windows Air because you can breathe it, and not breathe Windows Air, or you can breather Windows Air with your Mac Air! See, that's what makes it better!!!
- xevidentx, on 01/14/2008, -12/+4can you guys all move to an island and circle jerk each other with your ipods... this is a lame story, covered banners? please
- Dylson, on 01/14/2008, -13/+4ZOMG APPLE COVERED BANNERS FAP FAP FAP FAP FAP....
