- cdburrows, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17direct file link: http://a1825.phobos.apple.com/r10/Keynotes/MacworldSFKeynote2007.m4v
- ckohler, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13I wouldn't mind if Apple created their own official podcast. Even if it only updated two or three times a year, it'd be nice to be able to subscribe and automatically download keynotes.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+15i'll watch this on my Apple TV when i get one. Wouldn't that be something..
- lintmonkey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12It's one point twenty-one jiggabytes!
Edit: I see there are others down there who noticed this too. Digg me down. - kingfelix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+111.21 gigabytes? how could i have been so careless?
- tbossme, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10The file size is 1.21 jiga- er gigabytes. 1.21 GIGABYTES!
- flipmeat, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9This _is_ porn, numb nuts.
How many times does he say 'boom'? - laurentlasalle, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9It's 640 x 352
- embraceware, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8How's about a meet up at the clock tower at 10:04pm...
- diamondg14, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I for one am happy to see the 1.21 GB file size. The bigger the file the better the quality, I am pretty sure we all have hard drives big enough to store that. If you really want it you will find a network that can handle this DL.
- Bootes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7They cut out John Mayer.
- eatrains, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5It's on there for me. I have 10:41 PM EST.
- Chazzer3, on 10/12/2007, -1/+61.21GB, I won't get away with that on the college network!
- macslut, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Topher06, maybe you missed the CES keynote the day before where Bill Gates refers to Vista's backup utility as being better than a time machine... as in OS X (10.5 Leopard)'s Time Machine backup utility.
Come on, this is just fun ribbing on each other. Grow a sense of humor. - jasondefaoite, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Why did they censor the part where the Zune logo goes up in flames?
- PathDaemon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Yeah, but that's a stream.
- laurentlasalle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Here I have put a couple of pictures... It's a really nice quality, I would love to get this quality for previous keynotes also!
http://flickr.com/photos/laurentlasalle - marnaq, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Dude, I'm grabbing it. Screw the network. 1700kB/s down.
- sidizzle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I've been waiting for this. I'm sick of trying to watch the VOD stream. This is much better quality.
- applebyte, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4you don't have to subscribe. you can just click the button near the bottom that says "get episode". mine is coming in fast +500KB/s.
- laurentlasalle, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6You have to subscribe, it doesn't get it otherwise... Delete the 6 seconds file in your podcast section, delete the subscription (if you did it afterwards), go back to the iTunes Store and subscribe... It's 1,21 GB!!!
- potterboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Yeah, and have all the archived ones too.
- idean360, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Even though Ive seen it twice now, Im totally gonna make sure this is the first thing I watch on my iPhone and AppleTV...
- koregaonpark, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Downloading fine for me. 259 MB down so far. The good thing is that even if you get disconnected, it resumes from where it left off.
- DanielNielsen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Cool getting it now
- tracydanger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It appears that this may be that very thing.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2thx for the link ... love it ..
- tbossme, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Geek minds think alike :)
- StatusQuoRules, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I wish I found out about this before I came home from college! I could have tried to get it there lol
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2If you only get 6 secs, delete that, and download it again. It's fine for me now.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I watched Gate's keynote at the CES as well, but I think it's the other Microsoft guy saying "It's better than going back in TIME" This clearly refers to Apple's Time Machine. What they don't say is how elegant the Time Machine backup method is compared to theirs.
- yakk0dotorg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I subscribed the first time. I think it was a caching issue with iTunes because now it's coming up.
- imac79, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11.2 gigs. What the apple?
- tracydanger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Size is relative. 1.21 GB doesn't seem that big to me. About a 3 hour download. Just start it right before bed.
- jasondefaoite, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Yes, but on the screen the Zune logo was on fire. The camera remained on Jobs even with his back turned to it. You could tell something was happening with the cheers from the audience, yet Jobs back is on camera? Looks deliberate to me
- potterboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Umm, its a REALLY Long keynote
- DelMonte, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I guess this makes it the biggest podcast file ever?
- Trioxin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0And Volume Shadow Copy really doesn't work well for backup, since all the versions are stored on the same HD. If your HD dies all the versions go with it. Its good for versioning, but Time Machine is much more then that. Even Microsoft knows this and has a separate backup function in Vista.
- laurentlasalle, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1They didn't censored it, they were just showing the camera that looked at Jobs instead of the one pointing at the screen...
- applebyte, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4there's a decent MPEG4 quality torrent for the keynote here:
http://www.applerumortracker.com/media.html - mikemccarty, on 10/12/2007, -0/+01.21 GB wtf?!
I hear ya. - potterboy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Then maybe we can go Hover boarding later
- UxPx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0If you notice in the iTunes store, all movies are approximately that same size.
Just for Sh*ts and Giggles try to download a $9.99 movie and that will be the approximate size of the entire movie. This is why iTunes 7 has allowed for better resuming of iTS downloads. - corsairstw, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1It's a podcast! Wow... That's a big file. Anyone know if it's HD or something?
- Trioxin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1It wasn't even the actual logo, it was just the word Zune in the normal Myriad font Apple uses. You can see part of it on the CNET video.
- armandgunerio, on 10/12/2007, -2/+01.21 GB!!! holy smokes and rain on lava, that IS big!
- yakk0dotorg, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1I'm only getting the first 6 seconds when I download it.
- laurentlasalle, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1It's just a crappy producer that chose the wrong camera, I don't think Apple wanted to make fun of Microsoft ONLY for 2000+ attendees. It was written in every transcript of the Keynote anyway...
