- tarkam, on 12/04/2007, -2/+16Hey, those are digg's thumbs up & down icons from the comments! The just altered the color a little bit.
- bdesign, on 12/04/2007, -2/+14So you submit to digg in hopes of traffic and....can't handle any of the traffic you get! You're an idiot! Pay for some real hosting.
- mikevickrocks, on 12/04/2007, -6/+15No...because Leo Mancini is a hack rip-off artist piece of *****.
Enough said. - Tippis, on 12/04/2007, -0/+8...I think someone needs to go back and check his browser detection code O_o
- DeathAxe, on 12/04/2007, -0/+4Diggs!= Visits
- mobilitatis, on 12/04/2007, -1/+4They need good hosting! site is death now
- Funkly, on 12/04/2007, -3/+6and its down...
- Robbiet480, on 12/04/2007, -3/+5nice job leo. nice job
- Paranoidmarvin, on 12/04/2007, -1/+3Yum, Gooey
- jordanday, on 12/04/2007, -0/+2I think most people realize that diggs aren't a reflection on the total number of site visits. However, "all else being equal" it's the most obvious measurement available... at least as far as people making comments here on digg goes. Instead making such a useless reply as "Diggs!= Visits", why don't you suggest a better metric for rustymyers to use?
- jads, on 12/04/2007, -0/+2What's even funnier is that the digg count keeps going up an up when the site is down
- phatduckk, on 12/05/2007, -0/+2ummm, what do these goodies do? i clicked on "more info" and got the author's name etc. but... seriously, it would nice to see what these goodies do if u expect me to DL em?
- dignews, on 12/04/2007, -0/+2A goodie a day, keeps Windows away.
- coastyvet, on 12/04/2007, -0/+1try pinging the website by name, then connect to the website by the ip address the ping provides.
- diggsilva, on 07/10/2008, -0/+1Read it again: "I’ve got lots Christmas goodies lined up". It's a screenshot preview of a goodie that he's going to "release" (a.k.a. "pointlessly blog about") next week.
- MrCalifornia, on 12/04/2007, -1/+2The idea is from the SimpleBits guy, not to mention that it's totally obvious:
http://www.iconshoppe.com/chameleon/ - james.mattson, on 12/04/2007, -0/+1Your organization's Internet use policy restricts access to this web page at this time. Reason: The Websense category "Sports" is filtered.
URL: http://macintoshgui.com/ - diggsilva, on 07/10/2008, -0/+1Sorry, a mirror of MacintoshGUI.com - A Goodie Everyday is not available.
This is most likely because the site was not available when we tried to mirror it. - Unit134679, on 12/04/2007, -0/+1Hmm...it works when I had it as www.macintoshgui.com
- MonkeyFarts, on 12/05/2007, -0/+1Yeah the site looks nice and all, but a brief description and a quick and easy way to access the developer's site are pretty crucial to its usability.
- thespottedelf, on 12/04/2007, -0/+1mirror down... great...
- Tippis, on 12/04/2007, -0/+1It's called "digging now, returning later when it has cooled down"...
- DarkDx, on 12/04/2007, -0/+1It works when you type http://www.macintoshgui.com/
- MacParrot, on 12/04/2007, -1/+2So in other words, if you go to the site you die? That's just ridiculous. I've almost got the site up now and
- bipher, on 12/04/2007, -0/+1Well said bdesign. "Hey, c'mon everybody, drive on my new road ... oh *****, I haven't laid the tarmac yet, one at a time please, single-file only." Twerp.
- inactive, on 12/05/2007, -0/+1I'll look when I get home.
- ownage, on 12/06/2007, -0/+1Why was my comment deleted? I don't remember Digg having people called ADMINS?
- ownage, on 12/05/2007, -0/+1wow. Because it deals with macs and a woop di doo goody of the day, the apply fan boys that make up 2 thirds of the Digg population will put this OH SO WORTHY OF YOUR TIME piece to the front page
- slevit1, on 12/04/2007, -1/+2no, it doesn't work, no matter what you type. therefore, website = suck.
- bdesign, on 12/04/2007, -0/+1And people are still digging a site they can't see. Ahh, stupidity. It must be nice to be so oblivious.
- slippery, on 12/04/2007, -0/+1This site is kind of the opposite: http://commandlinemac.com/
- mydave, on 07/28/2008, -0/+0but site doesn't work.
http://www.brucepearlissatan.com
http://www.yara-online.org/ - nbeighley, on 12/04/2007, -2/+2404 not found...this website sucks!
- EDITXTREEM, on 12/04/2007, -1/+1Leo: Its showing a screenshot for in a week (Dec 9)
- larcher01, on 12/04/2007, -0/+0site down. *sigh*
- evanmancini, on 12/04/2007, -0/+0Okay, sorry, Nich accidentally posted a screenshot of an upcoming goodie to give an example of a Christmas-themed one.
- leomancini31, on 12/04/2007, -3/+3elictricocean, I'm not sure what dimension your in, but it's showing the goodie for today. It's not in a week. :P
- zep3, on 06/21/2008, -0/+0Nice website, me too I have a website of mac gui :D
http://guipulp.com/ - williamw, on 12/04/2007, -2/+1Glad someone said it. He got torn apart on MacThemes a while back.
"SILKSCREEN SIZE 8 FTW!!?!!!" - zforrester, on 12/04/2007, -3/+2Site is Death Now
I nominate this for comment of the year - Funkly, on 12/04/2007, -4/+2and its down...
- rustymyers, on 12/04/2007, -3/+1down after 73 diggs! Come on!
- elictricocean, on 12/04/2007, -2/+0on your(?) blog, there is a pic where it says december 9th.
- Colesif, on 12/04/2007, -4/+1This tool stole the thumbs up/down buttons from digg. I mean come on, if you aren't artistic a simple + or - would suffice.
- elictricocean, on 12/04/2007, -7/+2Is the developer form the future? His blog shows "a goodie of the day" on a date that is in a week from now. pretty freaky. http://nichm.com/?p=258
P.S. can I get a ride on the Dolorian? - jonahan52, on 12/04/2007, -6/+1Safari can’t open the page “http://macintoshgui.com/” because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection, which sometimes occurs when the server is busy. You might be able to open the page later.
