- boogie, on 01/20/2008, -1/+53And an Airport-update including a way to connect Time Machine to an Airdisk...
- tian2992, on 01/20/2008, -13/+62That IS long, just hope they don't charge 20$ for it...
- DarkFusion, on 01/20/2008, -5/+41Did anybody else find the end of endless updates?
I DID!!! - dantidote, on 01/20/2008, -2/+38So when is it going to be released?
- djh816, on 01/20/2008, -0/+30you sir, are about a year too late. welcome to the internet.
- wierdaaron, on 01/20/2008, -5/+30But it didn't have an und.
- Reaktor5, on 01/20/2008, -0/+20Time Capsule*
- naden, on 01/20/2008, -4/+22The keyboard freezing problem was fixed a few weeks ago.
- Kypt, on 01/21/2008, -0/+17Terminal already has tabs on leopard...atleast it does in my copy. Try command+t on terminal
- falafelkiosken, on 01/20/2008, -2/+18tabs for Finder, please
- CraigJ, on 01/20/2008, -3/+19you have no clue how software development works, do you?
- ericdano, on 01/21/2008, -8/+24Amazing how Apple can do fixes so fast compared to Microsoft...........
- counterplex, on 01/20/2008, -1/+16I haven't had any problems with that setup
- tobsterius, on 01/20/2008, -1/+15mac users? Just a guess...
- masterc, on 01/20/2008, -8/+22When Lord Jobs finishes hand coding it.
- lrdntwnd, on 01/20/2008, -2/+16Mac OS hasn't ever had that feature and likely never will. Get over it.
- PaulPinfield, on 01/20/2008, -1/+14This is a monster update. On the one hand, I am pleased that Apple are really forcing the pace here. On the other, imagine just how unfinished Leopard was when they postponed it to focus on the iPhone...
- DaffyDuck, on 01/21/2008, -2/+15"Of course Microsoft is fixing Vista"
They are finally ditching the registry? Yay! - djh816, on 01/20/2008, -3/+16+1 for the mail
- astrosmash, on 01/21/2008, -0/+13This happens to user accounts that were migrated from a previous version of OS X. The location of the apache configuration files moved in Leopard from /etc/httpd to /etc/apache2. It doesn't affect new user accounts created in Leopard.
Fix it by copying your user account configuration to the new location:
sudo cp /etc/httpd/users/fred.conf /etc/apache2/users/
Replace "fred" with your user account name, then restart your web server. - harlowsmonkeys, on 01/20/2008, -0/+12The only thing that has really annoyed me in Leopard has been Front Row. In Tiger, Front Row would play through Airtunes, but in Leopard, it can only play through the Macs speakers or line out. I hope they fix this.
- SlvrEagle23, on 01/20/2008, -7/+19Macs are like apostrophes...they work wonderfully in some applications but not at all in others.
You apparently have missed out on both counts... ;) - kohawks, on 01/20/2008, -0/+11The 2 links to DuggMirror and a reposting of the updates wasn't enough for you?
- inactive, on 01/20/2008, -6/+17The only thing I want is the List View in Stacks. Everything else has been working fine.
- WaterMedia, on 01/20/2008, -1/+12They all work perfectly. I've been using about all aspects of CS3 10 hours a day since Leopards launch.
Maybe you should install before you complain? - defectDS, on 01/20/2008, -1/+12"if u are going to brag about how perfect is ur OS"
Find how many comments on this page are proclaiming the perfection of OS X. And then count how many comments are welcoming the fixes because they know it's been a buggy launch.
Point being, there are no more vocal Apple fanboys. They have all been told to STFU by the anti-fanboys. And now it's the anti-fanboys who needs to shut up because you are just as annoying as they used to be. - lougoose, on 01/20/2008, -11/+22First of all, Vista goes way beyond "bugs".
And at least Apple is fixing the bugs in their OS... - Syraxis, on 01/20/2008, -1/+12This is what I hate about three day weekends, dumb ass kids like you aren't in school.
- blackjack75, on 01/20/2008, -2/+12I am sorry to be the one to tell you. But, we all, collectively try to bring you down.
- mizike, on 01/20/2008, -0/+10lol, show me any piece of software a 10th the size of leopard that shipped bug free; that's just not how software development works son....I for one say good job in getting two major updates out in 4 months.....I mean I don't know which OS you use, if it's windows they've never been that quick, if it's linux, well, how are those wireless card / printer drivers coming along?
- SoundScape, on 01/20/2008, -1/+11Saying something is endless is not a metaphor. Get a clue.
- Bootes, on 01/20/2008, -0/+10Except that it just happened to me yesterday. It's obviously not completely fixed.
- landmonster, on 01/20/2008, -4/+14Will they fix the undless bug though? That's what's worrying me.
- bradym80, on 01/20/2008, -3/+13syslogd!
- evanbooth, on 01/21/2008, -2/+12Anyone else ready for the "methinks" thing to die?
- thestaton, on 01/20/2008, -3/+12I had to change to thunderbird, mail is just not stable when using gmail imap.
- thepars, on 01/20/2008, -0/+9No SoundScape is right it's not a metaphor. It is actually hyperbole. A metaphor is something which compares two things without using words such as like or as. Hyperbole is purposefully exaggerating to create some sort of effect, usually in a humourous way.
- applemumba, on 01/20/2008, -0/+9In 2 weeks! Just in time for the launch of all the new introduced products at MWSF08.
- Garmonbozzia, on 01/20/2008, -1/+10Ladies and gentlemen, Andrew Dice Clay is a Mac user.
- KMartSheriff, on 01/20/2008, -3/+12I see you played your ignorance card.
- hamdogger, on 01/21/2008, -0/+8i read a comment about this on MDN and they said that the dock was fixed/upgraded and that includes stacks.
i didn't read through the whole list though, i don't uunderstand half of it, and it hurts my eyes. - GreenAlien, on 01/21/2008, -0/+8No it really is endless; they just had to summarize it to prevent breaking Digg.
- Garmonbozzia, on 01/20/2008, -0/+8On first read through I missed any mention of a fix for PPC Macs running with nVidia cards. I haven't been able to play WoW since I updated to Leopard. I'm waiting to see which comes first, a fix or my tax return (and with it, a new MacBook Pro.)
- themuffinman, on 01/20/2008, -1/+9I read this story because I wondered how much stuff they could actually have fixed. Leopard is in no way "shoddy, untested rubbish." But of course Apple is a greedy corperation interested in making money.
- DinosWillDie13, on 01/21/2008, -0/+8hah. failure.
- jperdomo, on 01/20/2008, -0/+8I still have the freeze. The issue is not completely resolved. Only a reboot restores the keyboard when it happens.
- blackjack75, on 01/20/2008, -1/+9Doesn't taste too bad with sugar, but please keep on topic.
