They eventually decided on posting it right afterwords (usually within a couple hours). That way it could be store on servers rather than a single live feed. Much more stable. But I do miss the good old days.

    @borez - they aren't broadcasting it live because it gets more hype, attention and longer lived love if they let the world spread it by mouth. welcome to marketing.

    • longofest, on 06/09/2008, -0/+3That's the thing about MacRumorsLive though. Because we use AJAX instead of making people refresh, we actually stay up throughout the entire thing. We haven't had an outage for the past few events, even with spikes of traffic.

      Huge kudos to our site guy who submitted this story for making the system what it is.
