- RyomaNagare, on 11/30/2008, -0/+7Really interesting, this model seems sound, it gives enough incentives for beta testers, to do just that, and its relatively cheap for developers, yet it still carries a cost.
What this will mean is developers, will hopefully take this seriously, while a good motivated group of beta testers can provide really valuable feedback. - timlopez, on 11/30/2008, -1/+8There's a lot of work that goes in to coordinating a beta test. The developer will need to be open to constructive criticism and suggestions from the testing community. Unfortunately, not many developers want suggestions or criticism, they just want to know that their software doesn't have bugs. I hope the developers on this site can be openly communicative with their testers. I mean, if its going to be a closed beta with an NDA, there shouldn't be a problem.

- hadak, on 12/03/2008, -0/+1You'd think that if you were testing an app, it wouldn't have the same "beta" restrictions that these apps do. Thumbs down for me.
