MacBook Benchmarks

geekpatrol.ca — Geek Patrol posted some MacBook benchmarks (comparing it against a MacBook Pro) using their cross-platform benchmark Geekbench. While they didn't test GPU performance, it's still worth a look, especially since the MacBook doesn't seem to be any slower (or faster) than the MacBook Pro.

    Secondly: we don't know how similar were the OS configured, and if OSX system load was monitored..
    Thirdly: also we do not know how well is the geek-bench done, It's easy to program benchmarks in poor shape, bringing too much variation on the results.

    It's quite hard do make good decent & reliable benchmarks... don't think geek-bench is usable has any kind of benchmarking tool, I prefer known & tried and tested benchmarks: sci-mark, drystone, whetstone, lmbench, dbench..
