There are minimum style benefits over a macbook, but are you really so desperate that you are trying to impress people with your computer? "Please like me anorexic girl, I overpaid for this laptop but it's thin, just like you! Can't you see I have money and like skinny things? We're made for one another!" or "Hey bra, check out my sweet laptop, I dropped a few bills on it, but no biggee, if you've got it flaunt it, amirite? And everyone knows i've got it, amirite? Ooh check out that skinny girl over by the bookshelves, I think I'll impress her with my new mac."

Also why Apple moved into ipod, iphone, appletv -- because Jobs has abandoned the Computing industry and instead is changing Apple into a consumer entertainment electronics company that the MPAA / RIAA can love.

- bowe, on 01/25/2008, -0/+2i think you could do the USB sound card thing, but definitely sucks if you want to use a headset with things like Skype. There's probably a mic somewhere on the computer by those things usually suck and pick up a lot of typing noise in my experience.
