As business applications (aka Office) move to the web, the necessity of Windows *whatever* will dwindle. As it stands right now, if you, as a business, are able to migrate you users to Apple hardware, it pays off handsomely on the server side of the house (flat rate licensing). The only questions that really remain are: will the be windows "emulation" under OSx86 work as advertised and how will Apple handle the DRMing of OSx86 (actually, the DRMing issues extend to any potential "living room products" Apple might decided to float as well).
If Apple pulls those two items off without a hitch, Microsoft is deeply and profoundly fscked. - BlueStarr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Excellent. Now that's a man who knew what he was look at. Thanks for the link!
