- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -3/+19gizmodo's fancy ajaxy no-refresh liveblog is broken...
- dirtyhand, on 10/10/2007, -4/+18Diablo 3... mark my words
- Eptiger, on 10/10/2007, -6/+20Yeah, I don't know why more people aren't digging this. They provide the most detail and even pictures.
- shmittay84, on 10/10/2007, -3/+12It's just you.
- morphie, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9He means something without a screen attached to it.
- SilverSpoon, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10"Here are photos of girls with balloons. I don't want to throw them away, just hide them."
ha ha ha - mogus, on 10/10/2007, -5/+13New idea for Apple to exploit fanboys: make news conferences like this pay per view on iTunes. Don't laugh, it'd work.
- totorototoro, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8Can anyone get Gizmodo's LiveBlogging to load? wtf? They ***** up the last one too!
- inspecality, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8idiot...
- skellener, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Nah, it's too unstable. ;)
- mogus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Umm, I think the comment system is acting a little weird. Sorry for the double reply...
- nene7070, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7dude, u were completely wrong. so... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
- meltingrobot, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8I wonder if they'll debut the i-Raq.
- AppleLuva, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7That's a great F'n idea! You know you'd pay! 1.99...I'M IN!
- mournsanity, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5This looks much, much better than the old model. Good job, Apple.
- tnoy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Core 2 Extreme is a C2Duo chip.
- rudy23, on 10/10/2007, -5/+10Today we bring you picasa for mac. i mean iPhoto08
- mogus, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6I agree. Maybe it would be okay for a desktop, but I already know I don't like how the glossy screens look on the laptops.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6that didn't take long. 6 minutes in and a new imac. something tells me big things are coming
- Gogogo111, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5What, you think they're going to fit a 8800GTX in there? Thats stupid. 250GB is enough for anyone, unless you're doing heavy downloading. I've only used up about 7/10 of my 80GB drive.
The only think I'm disappointed in is the memory. I want that to at least be 2GB now. - basye, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5"Note that the Mac mini is still pictured as part of Apple's product line."
NOT DEAD. - fanclerks, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Sweet, iLife '08! I knew there was a reason I waited. :D
- Ireland, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Numbers FTW!!!
- tnoy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5I'd like to buy a Mac. However, I still have a couple years left in my current laptop, the Mini is way too underpowered and offers virtually no expandability, the Mac Pro is about a grand more than I'm willing to spend, and I already have a very nice 24" LCD. Apple offers *nothing* that fits my needs, a tower with modest hardware would be ideal.
- Konstantino, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4"Didn't mention Mac mini today, how is it doing?"
Tim: "We're refreshing the Mac mini today."
...What!? That wasn't in the announcements. - longfocus, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5working like a champ over here
- Stirk, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Refreshing mac minis!
- morphie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Logic is about 100 time harder to use than GarageBand, what do you expect? ;)
- Gee1004, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3So becuase of Apple's design, you will go back to windows. How ***** lame
- teknobryan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3unfortunately no. :(
- Kitsune818, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Do your own research. They were developed and released concurrently in January of 2002. Picasa was originally the product of idealab. I was reffering to the tagging of "events" which Apple has apparently lovingly lifted.
- wafu, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3BOOM!
- kris33, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5Forgot this one:
MacNN: http://live.macnn.com/ - championchap, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5"That's an overview of iPhone '08." The crowd starts clapping, which seems a bit unnecessary."
Engadget just won a fan. - noahhoward, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3It takes up to 4GB of memory, what are you bitching about? 1 GB is good enough for most things, if it isn't good enough for you, upgrade. There is no reason for the base spec tobe higher than the average computer user needs.
- jhuebel, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3SJ mentioned that they're refreshing the Mini's today. I'm glad to hear it, since my wife's PPC Mac Mini is showing its age.
- Stirk, on 10/10/2007, -3/+6Why the glossy displays? Why! I hope there is an option for matte.
- hypermite, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3hello, new keyboard!

- ketha, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Too right.
- arbulus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2You can choose not to see Apple stories. Check your preferences. furthermore, if you hate Apple so much, why the ***** are you on this thread at all?
- jjk5, on 10/10/2007, -4/+6Yeah, if only they had something like an "iMac" that could fit that spot. Wouldn't that be grand?
- noahhoward, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3http://www.blogsmithmedia.com/www.engadget.com/media/2007/08/dsc_1297.jpg
Bam? - mogus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Especially to not have to bog down Engadget's servers hitting reload every 30sec...
- ketha, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Yeah, it's loaded, eventually. It's kinda wappy.. goes in and out but seems to be fastest, easiest and most detailed.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2that's dandy, but steve kind of let the cat out of the bag 6 minutes in. not much more to announce as far as imac goes
- StandardsDT, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3The new iMacs look amazing!
