- brett1337, on 01/06/2009, -14/+83I know a kid named Ryan Block and I ***** hate him.
- konataXchan, on 01/06/2009, -13/+67Kevin Rose recieved an email from Ryan requesting to have his Mac world coverage story dugg to get traffic.
It's all an elaborate plan to make you visit gdgt and generate ad sense for Ryan. Oh ***** the FB.....I...... - Prod_Deity, on 01/06/2009, -5/+45From the Mac Rumors feed....
9:24 am STEVE JOBS JUST DIED :
9:27 am Retraction on Steve Jobs comment...we don't know how that got in our feed.
Either someone is bored with the PhilNote, or there goes the idea of Mac security.
/sarcasm
Edit: I think someone is having fun with the feed....
9:29 am SEX ME - submariner, on 01/06/2009, -14/+53***** 4chan script kiddies... They hacked a live feed... wooo... I bet their mommies are really proud now...
- MrKiTT3N, on 01/06/2009, -2/+3330s refresh script + Google ads == Success

9:30 am Oh, wait, sorry, Steve did die. Our condolences.
lol - aelias, on 01/06/2009, -2/+29hacked and down. Thanks 4chan. *****.
- Chirp08, on 01/06/2009, -5/+31It's amazing that people actually have such an interest in a company's products. Hate on Apple all you want but any company would die to be in a position where the consumer cares that much about what it's doing next and will flop down money instantly on whatever they make available.
- speedygonzalez, on 01/06/2009, -5/+30Google.... ads? i thought it was pronounced ad-block-plus...
- koenigje, on 01/06/2009, -3/+26I don't see why not.
- Perfectsound, on 01/06/2009, -1/+21I'm pretty sure no one gets to shoot video of the keynote except apple.
- mlerner, on 01/06/2009, -4/+24Worst.. Keynote.. Ever.
- transversed, on 01/06/2009, -3/+21OK i get it. You can hack a live feed. Now can we get back to the show? This is the Apple equivalent of the superbowl and I'm missing it because of some morons.
- JerzyBricklayr, on 01/06/2009, -5/+19live what? video? blog? I want VIDEO! Not the engadget style live blog.

Keynote
Ever. - stealthspc, on 01/06/2009, -1/+11Apple never implied they were the first.
- P5ycHo, on 01/06/2009, -2/+12no Steve, no iPhone nano, no new Mini, no new iMac, no shockers, no surprises.
- Chirp08, on 01/06/2009, -0/+9Considering that its 3x the normal and most normal batteries last a couple of years what are you exactly complaining about?
- smallbox, on 01/06/2009, -1/+10The feed just went dead. Looks like they pulled the plug.
- awolfe91, on 01/06/2009, -5/+14Dude, STFU
- bbene, on 01/06/2009, -1/+10When will someone take THEM down for once.
- franklymister, on 01/06/2009, -3/+12Oh c'mon, it was funny.
- inactive, on 01/06/2009, -6/+14Have a sense of humor, its pretty damn funny. Specially the "Oh steve died" comments.
- richardhenry, on 01/06/2009, -0/+8Firstly, face detection is hardly a novel idea and Picasa was hardly the first implementation. But more importantly, people put way too much value on ideas. It's the execution that matters, and competition between executions never hurt anyone.
- Iggins, on 01/06/2009, -2/+9Where's my MacMini?!?!! >:(
- MrM1yagi, on 01/06/2009, -3/+10Haha, someone hacked the MacrumorsLive feed.
- KevekKerinth, on 01/06/2009, -4/+11I used to think as you do, but, as it turns out... hype that works is not in fact hype.
- JimmyDThing, on 01/06/2009, -1/+8I agree with you guys complaining about this... but wasn't one of the reasons for stopping Macworld so that they can have more scattered releases? Maybe they want to start their new way of going about releasing their new stuff with a bang... that seems better than Macworld. i dunno, just a thought.
- miggyb, on 01/06/2009, -1/+8What the hell? No Snow Leopard?
- franklymister, on 01/06/2009, -4/+11
Edit (4m 55s…)
That was the most anti-climactic keynote EVER.
Woohoo, new iLife and iWork, and the Macbook Pro now has the crappy keyboard from the Macbook and a non-removable battery.
What a lousy way to end the era of Apple keynotes at Macworld. - Nosferotu, on 01/06/2009, -2/+9Damnit, where's the new Mac Mini?? Or iMac?!
- nugx, on 01/06/2009, -1/+8No wonder Steve didn't bother to show up.
- DismantleRepair, on 01/06/2009, -0/+7I know a kid named Block Ryan and I ***** hate him.
- elitexero, on 01/07/2009, -1/+7Hey ***** you!
My best friend died trying to Ryan Block. - inactive, on 01/06/2009, -0/+6Not even a Mac Pro refresh, what a downer.
- ekula, on 01/06/2009, -0/+6because it's the same keystroke for Macs...
- inactive, on 01/06/2009, -1/+7Bye bye DRM in iTunes (for music anyway), and its about ***** time. Now all we need is to get DRM off the TV and Movies too.
I cant count how many times I have not purchased a song in iTunes because it was not the DRM free version. - wiiittttt, on 01/06/2009, -0/+6I believe they are streamlining the OS because they are actually concerned about its footprint and performance.
- schmitey, on 01/06/2009, -2/+8Site is getting slammed!
I'm switching to engadget...who's with me? - kerunt, on 01/06/2009, -1/+7Impressions (ie. displays) of ads also bring in revenue.
- cavemonkey50, on 01/06/2009, -1/+7F5 still works on a Mac. If you're on laptop you just need to hold function when pressing it.
- ekula, on 01/06/2009, -0/+5or via the system preferences... http://a5.s3.quickshareit.com/screenshot_32276ace7 ...
- R1100S, on 01/06/2009, -3/+8Longer battery life....but a NON-REMOVABLE battery?!
Seriously? - shauncullen, on 01/06/2009, -2/+7The last Macworld: Not with a bang, but with a whimper.
- tocheeba, on 01/06/2009, -1/+6Where the ***** is the 4 month old promised BACKGROUND NOTIFICATIONS??? The ONLY thing from Apple that I've been looking for since the iPhone 3G was announced.
