- Ireland, on 10/10/2007, -14/+74Apple, we don't want it on time if it's gonna be buggy - just saying. Finish it off correctly, we'll survive on Tiger while you do.
- RollFizzlebeef, on 10/10/2007, -3/+55That headline is still in beta.
- supermanred, on 10/10/2007, -6/+44Im buying it just for the updated dock, time machine, bluetooth headset support........
***** I can't wait. My OS X already blows my Vista partition out of the water, I cant even imagine how ***** Vista (confirm or deny... you just clicked on your email icon, are you sure you want to open the email program? Confirm or...shut the ***** up vista) is compared to the new OSX...
I may have to buy a larger laptop drive...
BTW not a Apple Fanboy, used windows for over 15 years and at the top of my OS X screen is my vista start bar (running in parallels) - apologeticus, on 10/10/2007, -21/+54Buried for misspelling "candidate."
- virtualball, on 10/10/2007, -2/+30Umm....what don't you get about "two known bugs," one of which is HP printer drivers? One more build and this should all be cleared.
- jthomp, on 10/10/2007, -6/+31"Cantidate"? Fail. Hard.
- bysubmitted, on 10/10/2007, -10/+28Dugg for misspelling "candidate!"
- AQUANETA, on 10/10/2007, -5/+18I knew the resolution independence wouldn't work perfectly, and now it's not there at all.
- supermanred, on 10/10/2007, -1/+14Yeah, I can survive on the best OS I have ever used, and I've used all of them. Currently running OS X with Vista (together, in parallels) and Ubuntu in parallels.
- Dhalgren, on 10/10/2007, -2/+15I thought all diggers use Firefox... Are you guys turning OFF the auto spell check feature? Or did you stupidly say, "Dumb Firefox! Cantidate is a word, I'm adding it to my dictionary..."
- fkr3, on 10/10/2007, -1/+13It's not an RC until Apple says it's an RC. A rumour site doesn't get to make that decision and they're not privy to the dev cycle or status either.
- xGrill, on 10/10/2007, -5/+13Apple will not rush leppy, they have a time machine that gives them extra time.
- MacDaddyMac530, on 10/10/2007, -10/+18no no we want it on time. Apple you had enough time to finish it. NOW FINISH IT. :)))
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -6/+14All this news about Linux makes me sick. Time for Leopard to start making some rounds here on Digg.
- padfoot, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Maybe your problem is the magical intel PowerMacs you are using...
- antitab, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8No res independence? :(
- yetdog, on 10/10/2007, -3/+9Because they don't realize they're misspelling it. And people on this site keep digging it up, so there's no incentive to, you know, learn how to spell.
- ericdano, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7Tori KANT SPELL
- misterjangles, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8Sorry, this is the Steve Jobs boot licking club, not the OSX beta testers forum. Oh wait... you're just trying to brag that you have a beta copy of Leopard - nevermind.
- knightboat, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6When the written word is the only option for communication in a particular setting, it follows that you would be judged based upon your use of it.
- goodcow, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4List please.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5whats the rush? Vista was and still is a massive flop made of *****
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Tiger already kicks the ***** out Vista, its hard to believe the bset can get better still.
Thanks for making computers fun again Apple - FunkyChicken, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Comment Dugg for being the best 6 word comment on Digg! Ever!! :-)
- marlinman, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I can't believe I just joined digg to ask the following:
what, exactly, is a moran? - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Safari has better spell checking
- JoshuaGross, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3I didn't even notice it... look what Spell Check has done to us :(
- Ireland, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Two known bugs? That's not what I'm hearing through the grapevine. If they ship it in October and it's solid then great, but if it's not going to be solid, then I don't mind waiting some more. That was my point.
- deadbaby, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2They can always push an update that is ready by the time people get their DVDs.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3because they don't use Safari
- nakile, on 10/10/2007, -4/+5I think the Firefox spell checker would work 100% better if "Add to dictionary" wasn't RIGHT UNDER THE CORRECTIONS. I hit that thing like, three times a week by accident.
- blackacre, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Original article dugg for misspelling "candidate."
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1you buy now, you get tiger.
- tomis, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Call Apple Care. If it's within a couple weeks they'll usually give you a "free" (as in you only pay shipping) upgrade, but it's not always cut & dried. Sometimes you have to be stubborn.
- Jem2768, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Seems you're not alone. Macrumours didn't notice either as it's not even spelled correctly in the URL...
- tomis, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1That title is about as ready for release as Leopard is. From what I've seen of 10.5 I was hoping Apple would delay it another 6 months. Otherwise I'll be watching the updates and either wait 'tll the DVDs are shipping with 10.5.3 or so, or just wait for 10.6
- Squidly, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I hope that Leopard doesn't go the way of iLife 08. iMovie nerfed, iPhoto made more confusing (events and cover flow? Come on.) A myriad of other features nobody cares much about.
The "coverflowification" of Apple products is a virus. It's style over substance to the nth degree. I'll buy Leopard for "Time Machine", but I fear everything that will "come with."
Hope I'm worrying needlessly. - Dhalgren, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Not a solution for the bad placement, but what to do after you make that mistake:
http://lifehacker.com/software/dictionary/remove-m ... - F4d3d, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Free Leopard Upgrade?
I JUST bought a MacBook Pro, and I'm wondering if Apple usually offers a free upgrade to a new version of OS X for those who have recently purchased a computer with the old OS. Any thoughts?
Cheers! - WonderSwan, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3Does anyone know if, for Leopard, Apple has fixed the ridiculously sloppy folder background color bug for Intel Macs (i.e. user selects a color but it changes next time the folder is opened)?
- bobbyi, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1"On time" would have been a year ago.
- ttamshadbolt, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Its the race for an ego building story that hits the front page...
- blackacre, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0***** Kant. I hate the bastard.
- Tippis, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1They can't -- the kick button is broken...
- SummySun, on 02/14/2009, -0/+0I miss this information! thanks for informing.

- 80hd, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1seeing neglect for spelling is like getting poked in the ribs to some....
- MtheoryX, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2Um, yeah, Macs hold their value pretty well.
- kagedwolf, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Dugg for referencing my favorite Tori Amos album
