- fenix61, on 11/15/2007, -25/+107Who ***** cares
- Lionhart, on 11/15/2007, -10/+54Am I the only Mac user out there that thinks coverflow is useless? It's flashy and all but list view is far better.
- Alegoo92, on 11/14/2007, -4/+38This is actually a very true comment.. none of that was interesting.
- oneoverzero, on 11/14/2007, -19/+45A lot of these are ridiculous, what else but lorem ipsum are they going to put on the dictionary? I doubt that they intended to put 6 and 9 on the calculator, and who gives a ***** about the clock on the time machine? I'll give you that, the text edit is cool, as are some of the others, but I'm guessing this guy just ran out of content and needed to find something else.
- macamatition, on 11/15/2007, -5/+27Text Edits is the best.
- rossbrown, on 11/14/2007, -0/+21I still think CSSEdit has the best one:

http://www.duggmirror.com - darlyn, on 11/14/2007, -3/+21I'd like the back story on that girl, please.
- MBarnwell, on 11/14/2007, -2/+18i feel like a noob, what is the joke about 6 and 9? i see it in the keys but its not in the display...wheres the funny?
- Protoss, on 11/14/2007, -0/+15Actually it works pretty swell for a directory of images.
- puggy, on 11/14/2007, -0/+14The back story is that she's taken and you need to get out more.
- christianjb, on 11/15/2007, -2/+12Has anyone found any numerological interest in
12374218.75? - ThankTheCheese, on 11/14/2007, -0/+10yeah I agree. I always thought coverflow was useless in iTunes, but I have been surprised ay how often I use it to sift through images and fonts with coverflow view in leopard.
also, did you just use the word "swell"? Richie Cunningham, is that you? :P - JeremyBanks, on 11/14/2007, -0/+9Or videos.
Looking through my ~/Movies folder is what I find it best for. - ttamshadbolt, on 11/14/2007, -0/+9he he.. 6... 9...
- DavisCollins, on 11/15/2007, -0/+8It uses all the numbers accept 6 and 9, which to them makes it significant for some reason.
- omaryak, on 11/14/2007, -1/+9"Ran out of content and needed something else" is the reason most published articles exist, especially on the Web.
- ThankTheCheese, on 11/14/2007, -0/+6Apostrophes killed my father.
- ttamshadbolt, on 11/15/2007, -1/+7only the most boring people would digg this... hmm, dugg
- btermini, on 11/14/2007, -0/+6no 6 and 9 are not there because 6 is afraid of 7 as seven eight nine.
- willwgm3, on 11/14/2007, -0/+6Here's a link that describes the significance of the July 17th date on the iCal icon: http://outtacontext.com/life/archive/000301.shtml
iCal debuted on July 17, 2002 at the MacWorld Expo in New York.
Link from Apple's PR site: http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2002/jul/17ical.ht ... - inactive, on 11/14/2007, -0/+5ie...
- omaryak, on 11/14/2007, -1/+6Steve Jobs quote or Apple ad campaign? Or is there a difference?
- theprez, on 11/14/2007, -3/+8Being somewhat of a Mac fanboy, I think this is very lame. The TextEdit thing is the only cool "easter egg" and it was posted a while back.
http://digg.com/apple/Easter_Egg_in_Leopard - sleepwalkers, on 11/14/2007, -0/+5@Mike89: You did see that Windows BSoD icon, right?
- noblepenguin, on 11/14/2007, -0/+5#1 reason why it's a bad idea to call people idiots on message boards.
- javaroast, on 11/14/2007, -0/+5It's neither Jobs or Kerouac
http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Jack_Kerouac - Powerdrift, on 11/14/2007, -1/+6Column view!
- Mike89, on 11/14/2007, -0/+4I seriously doubt that's the joke, unless Apple hires 13 and 14 year old guys to do their graphic design.
- titlesaysitall, on 11/14/2007, -0/+4It'll respawn at 666 Diggs.
- DigDugDigger, on 11/14/2007, -0/+4The poem (?) was posted at http://apple.com/thinkdifferent/, which is now down... but the WayBack Machine captured it: http://web.archive.org/web/20010228171255/www.appl ...
- SpacedCowboy, on 11/14/2007, -0/+4It's quite obviously the next two months (August & September)
- inactive, on 11/14/2007, -0/+4Secret? I thought we'd find a map to the Arc of the Covenant.
- kedohmen, on 11/14/2007, -0/+4Is it from On The Road? I thought it was too, but I think it is just from the Apple ad. I typed in the quote and got nothing but Jobs' name. The Kerouac quote is similar and is the same flow -I'm sure he lifted the idea and "point" from Jack....
- Mike89, on 11/14/2007, -0/+3Touché
- dagaz, on 11/14/2007, -0/+3No, Kerouac reads "They were the mad ones. The ones who were mad to live, made to die, mad to be saved. Desirous of everything at the same time. The ones who never yawned or said a commonplace thing but burned, burned burned like fabulous yellow roman candles exploding like spiders among the stars" This was my favourite book through Uni.
- TiceHH, on 11/14/2007, -0/+3How about all of them on one website: http://blog.tice.de/icons.php?sprache=englisch
- googlyguy, on 11/14/2007, -0/+3Probably been done before, but the designer for Word's settings icon must have been angry at someone.
http://img115.imageshack.us/img115/2439/picture1kv ... - op12, on 11/14/2007, -0/+3There is, you're just not using it. Just uncheck Apple from your topics...easy!
http://www.digg.com/settings/topics - kedohmen, on 11/14/2007, -0/+3unless you're right!
And at least im a big enough person to admit when im wrong, unlike some of these damn dirty diggers! - 68024, on 11/14/2007, -0/+2What is going on here!! Why don't you stay DEAD! This zombie keeps returning!
- TiceHH, on 11/14/2007, -0/+2If 6 was 9, I don't mind ... Jimmy Hendrix. ; )
- xM55, on 10/02/2009, -2/+431th of June?
- Falldog, on 11/14/2007, -0/+2I'd like to back story her if you get my drift.
- wilfordsy, on 11/14/2007, -0/+2WTF! That was useless! 6 and 9 was not funny.
What's the point of the brighter smile with glasses?
And I don't care what time it is! - inactive, on 11/14/2007, -0/+2Back again at 214. WTF!?
- zoolander, on 11/14/2007, -0/+2I don't get it. There are no explanations behind each icon, so this tells me absolutely nothing.
- bradg2, on 11/14/2007, -0/+1I don't get the calculator one.....
- danfuturo, on 11/14/2007, -0/+1Agreed. List view is the only way to fly. If I need to see something I just hit the space bar.
