- PowderedToasty, on 11/02/2009, -0/+29Making a robot that does anything isn't "lazy" by any stretch of the imagination.
- jordantneff, on 11/02/2009, -0/+16How did it only get 87%?
- pjpete, on 11/02/2009, -0/+15I've seen other robots like this with the fill size guitar hero guitar and wondered where the fun is in cheating at the game. I've come to realize, it's not about the game. It's about the robot.
- feelmypimphand, on 11/02/2009, -1/+11Experimentation and creativity is what has led to some of the greatest inventions.
- Phooka1976, on 11/02/2009, -0/+9Its only the beginning! Once they replace us at playing Rock Band they will start to take away our factory jobs! KILL IT WITH FIRE!
- nullmind, on 11/02/2009, -0/+9The irony being that you have a broken comment above this.
- jakobrowning, on 11/02/2009, -0/+8In a display of sheer laziness, this guy engineered and calibrated a light detecting robot that would respond by activating fake fingers covered with conductive foam to play out the notes. tsk, tsk.... how lazy.
- tainted79, on 11/02/2009, -1/+9That robot sucked!
- sgerwel1985, on 11/02/2009, -0/+7Technically the robot didn't get the 87%. I'd like to look at it as the man who build this rig is only 87% out of 100% at making a good robot.
- pjpete, on 11/02/2009, -0/+6The 'finger' for the blue key was off; I believe it was tapping too early.
- Puppytwo, on 11/02/2009, -2/+8Why would he not wait to perfect it before uploading is the real question
- nullmind, on 11/02/2009, -1/+6Your comment was more useless than this robot, which was more useless than the game it's playing...
- DeadFox1, on 11/02/2009, -0/+5I can still remember back in 2009, before Google Skynet became fully aware- the first prototype iPhone rockband robotic hand scored a measly 87%. This was, of course, outdone by the first droid rockband robotic hand which scored an 89% in 2010.
- PowderedToasty, on 11/02/2009, -1/+6Someone learning how to make robots means they "have no life"? Just curious but what are you doing with your life that is more awesome than making robots??
- jakobrowning, on 11/02/2009, -1/+6They're called hobbies. Heard of them?
- sgerwel1985, on 11/02/2009, -0/+4I meant to say "built", guess i get a 0% for proof reading before i hit "save"
- NJank, on 11/02/2009, -0/+4They took our jobs!
- rwbrinso, on 11/02/2009, -1/+5Dōmo arigatō
- PowderedToasty, on 11/02/2009, -0/+3Why would he perfect a robot that plays guitar hero on a phone? On a learning project like this the point isn't the finished product, the point is the process.
- Rammat2, on 11/02/2009, -0/+2Ok, it plays rock. But I bet it's still not very popular with roadie chicks.
- XorpheusX, on 11/02/2009, -0/+2This isn't a robot playing fake guitar, it's a robot playing fake fake guitar.
- hansondr, on 11/03/2009, -0/+2If I had the ability, I'd make all the robots for rock band so I could always play with a full band (sans the vocals since that robot would be on a whole other level from the others).
- pongsifu88, on 11/02/2009, -0/+2dey tewk er' jeeeerbs
- Greengoo, on 11/02/2009, -0/+2Mista Roboto
- nullmind, on 11/02/2009, -0/+2jorbs*
- degs71, on 11/04/2009, -0/+1you'd have thought the guy who built this had heard of WD40.
- gullyben, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1Hey hobbies are awesome, and making robots is AWESOMER. I wish I knew how to build a ***** robot. I'm not knocking him for building robots because that's obviously very admirable, I'm just saying, use that talent and spend all that time on something useful, not a robotic hand that I can beat playing Rock Band.
Start working on affordable realistic sex slaves for example. For people like me who need to get a goddamn life. - Puppytwo, on 11/02/2009, -2/+3
- NeoTechni, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1Says the guy on digg...
- ChickenFight, on 11/02/2009, -3/+1dugg for robot fail
- Tyrghast, on 11/02/2009, -5/+1Psh, i could kick that robot's ass

- MooseKnuckles, on 11/02/2009, -7/+1Anyone else think they saw his hands pulling fishing wire or am I crazy?
- gullyben, on 11/02/2009, -17/+2That's cool and all...but shouldn't you take all that skill and work on getting a goddamn life?
- piattorney, on 11/01/2009, -23/+2As evidenced by Barry Obama and his Marxist pals.

What is Digg?
