- Dithre, on 10/12/2007, -4/+17Hey, I'm Dustin, the one in the interview here. I wasn't aware that this article would be submitted to digg, but people appear to be digging it so I can't exactly stop them.
Neil, your definition of a good application appears to be distorted. To many Mac users, a good application is defined as something that is useful to them, works well, and was designed with care. Just because there are applications with more meat that can accomplish a lot more does not mean there is no place for smaller utilities.
There will always be professional development teams working on high end apps, but (most of) the Mac community has opened up to independent developers who make small, useful apps. I'm pretty sure this is the audience MacApper is appealing to, and I don't see why it's a problem. - opensourcemaven, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13Sorry, that's not a hair question.
- AllnightChemist, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10See that arrow on your screen? You move it the colored words, and when you press them it takes you to answers!

"Wallet is the most secure, elegant, and easy way to store and organize your passwords, serial numbers, credit cards, and much more." - robdiggity, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Screech always cracked me up on Saved By the Bell.
Wait... that's Dustin DIAMOND, my bad. - fleetskeet, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Article summary:
Q: What are you working on now?
A: It's top secret. - michaelyurechko, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The article was not meant to "riveting". It was a basic interview, a few points, and a nice short read in my opinion.
- neonesc, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Sorry MacApper but that was hardly what you would call a riveting interview. Buried.
Good luck with the site though and to anyone not using Wallet, check it out. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2oooohhhhhhhhh that wallet
- milezteg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wow dig fanboys...Everything is spam in your eyes. Give the guys a break. NOTE: The entire staff of macadder is under 17!
- AllnightChemist, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"The space under the mattress was working just fine, but I needed a safer way to carry just a little bit of my cache."
/lame pun, lying - r00tus3r, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I know why both of you know, and let's just say ... neither of your mothers would be pleased.
- mandarin, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3Whats Wallet and why is it popular?
- AllnightChemist, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Dustin Diamond. Oh, man, why do I know that? Oh, man, why do YOU (not know that, then) know that?!
- tobyjoe, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1The only major lack (for me, my company) is that it isn't document-based. No simple way to share wallets of data (company passwords, etc).
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -8/+4What the ***** is Wallet?
- grawil, on 10/12/2007, -18/+4Burried... more digg-spam by Smaran and Glenn.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -16/+1I agree grawil, I cannot believe people openly digg this ridiculous publicity stunt. The blog has a history stretching back all of ONE DAY and it's a post about a stupid application that really only gives a pretty interface to a database.
I resent this 'new Mac' way of using your computer. People say they switch to Mac for the simplicity and ease of use but all I've seen these people on this blog doing is promoting applications which seem to cost very little but also do very little. I wonder what their Application folders look like? Cluttered up with stupid crap like this I bet, with plenty of applications which they never, ever use after telling us how "awesome" they are.
We really need to get back to the point where there are professional development teams working on projects which actually make a significant difference.
On another note, I will bury each and every one of your links from this site as spam koreagonpark as they appear to be profiting you (your name is listed on the staff page).
