- dmoney06, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Hijack's mockups are so freaking slick. Along with atmosphere, it is my favourite app. Cookbook looks useful for someone like my mom, so I voted for that as well. ;)
- Turias, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7How do you know that Hijack isn't already in the top three apps? I thought the final round's results were being obscured until the end of the voting period.
- mulletman13, on 10/12/2007, -1/+68 hours left... this app looks awesome
- adambetts, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6REMINDER: If you voted for Portal too, you're not helping Hijack at all. It has to be just Hijack and/or any other apps than Portal.
Portal can be developed by external developer, Hijack cannot. Jason Harris is one of the few developers who can develop a software like Hijack. - mulletman13, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5As much as I'd like to see Portal, a new/improved version of iSync would make it cease to exist.
- dane, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Obviously you never read the comments by the developers on how doable Hijack is. Or is it that you believe Amber Mac over the people that will actually be writing the program?
- CmdrVarius, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4This is by far the best app in the contest and deserves to win. Anyone that uses forums really ought to be voting for this.
- amorya, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4People testing the system by voting for just Hijack, and watching the number of votes for each app, have discovered that Hijack is red.
- mac4evan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3completely agree and that was the reason why i voted for Hijax Whistler and Cookbook
- palaniappanc, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Come on people!
- random44, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3I can't believe Hijack isn't a-top the votes. It's an entirely new genre. Everyone who sees now how great RSS readers are - Hijack will do the same thing for Forums. Seriously, it's the only completely new idea in the contest - and it's only 300 votes away from being in the winner circle (top three apps). I know Digg can help!
- osmaker, on 10/12/2007, -8/+10Digging the contest = cool.
Digging asking people to vote for just one app = spam. - cmyk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Also, tesseract figured out the equation that the admins at MDA were using to hide the identities of the contestants:

for those that are watching this project like I am.... - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1yes and what about http://www.litepost.com ??
- NAPO, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Incredible potential for this application. I really think this is the true dream app out of this competition, it would change the way one sphere of the internet works, maybe leading to a new standard.
Vote for Hijack!!! - amorya, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2I don't think cmyk is Kevin, since there's an active user called cmyk on the MDA boards. Unless Kevin has two accounts there, then they're different.
- gleepskip, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2I didn't vote for Portal or Hijack. I voted among the first 1000 votes for the applications I wanted, not any strategic way.
- hifiDesign, on 10/12/2007, -5/+4Also, submitter "cmyk" is likely to be Kevin Capizzi himself, and it seems like he and digguser "johnred" are in league with each other. Gaming the system, Kev?
- hifiDesign, on 10/12/2007, -5/+3Read the reviews — the necessary layer of compatibility between forums technologies is missing, so is a true demand, and screen scraping isn't very doable either. Hijack just isn't a killer app (and if you read the reviews by the judges, none of them are really killer apps).
No DIGG and no vote. - ajwitte, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2Under 200 votes needed now!
- gleepskip, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Hijack may be cool and novel and ground-breaking and so forth. In fact, I think it is.
The problem is it's a tool that almost no one needs. How many people do you know who visit more than one forum on a regular basis? Of those, how many own a mac?
We are talking about fewer people than who use RSS aggregating tools.
It's a neat concept, the designs are cool, but I would never buy it. - mulletman13, on 10/12/2007, -8/+0please bury. post below explains it better.
