- cave, on 10/30/2007, -7/+140Dugg for including a clip of Leo Laporte "squirting" his Zune.
- sennmen, on 10/28/2007, -3/+130Seriously though, lonelygirl?
- swanny89, on 10/28/2007, -53/+141That was a great video until the apple logo came up. Honestly, I was totally on board for this well done tribute to geeks in all sections of society, only to have those feelings crushed upon realizing it was all just an apple circle jerk. (Seriously guys, they're good computers, but changing the world might be taking it a bit far.)
- Commonwealth, on 10/28/2007, -18/+63Oh, come on... Apple has done some innovative things, but they definitely aren't the rebellious outsiders that so many Apple fanboys seem to think they are. I like Apple (I just bought a Macbook) but they're just a business like everybody else.
- acevoncash, on 10/28/2007, -20/+64have you been living under a rock? the whole thing is an update of an APPLE commercial. Welcome to the internet. enjoy your stay.
- JustinHorne, on 10/22/2007, -14/+51I'm a pretty hardcore Apple user, but even I could have done without the Apple logo. Work of that quality should be left to stand on it's own.
Regardless, great video. - oneshare325, on 10/22/2007, -10/+42Dugg for remind me how "un-apple" apple was dealing with the iphone/itouch!
- 2Deluxe, on 10/22/2007, -9/+38What we need is an Apple fellatio section.
- Supermunch, on 10/21/2007, -7/+36That was the world's greatest fellatio video, it should have a NSFW warning.
Oh, dugg because of Colbert. - mal1964, on 10/21/2007, -14/+42I am not a fan boy, but yes I believe it did change the world.
- Negyxo, on 10/23/2007, -8/+34she changed my life and you can't take that away from me.
- McInternet, on 10/24/2007, -15/+38Bill Gates thought different. That's why you're not forced to pay Apple's prices for a computer. Glorify or vilify him, you can't ignore him.
- christhechris, on 10/22/2007, -2/+24I'm worried some people actually think Apple made this....wtf
- antitab, on 10/22/2007, -10/+31Apple: blowing personal computing way, way out of proportion.
- 2Deluxe, on 10/22/2007, -8/+28Aha! I've figured it out!!! After all these years...
Apple = DIGG DIGG DIGG FAP FAP FAP
It's just common sense. - HaroldHupmobile, on 10/21/2007, -0/+16Go go gadget Alton Brown. His shows are the only watchable ones on Food Network.
- cybermort, on 10/21/2007, -1/+14you mean people that actually changed the world with a legacy that has stand the test of time unlike lonelygirl. pfft.
- Morality, on 10/21/2007, -1/+11Apple's greatest achievement was to convince the world it was not a business. They did not do this alone.
- antitab, on 10/22/2007, -2/+12"Come on x ys, digg me down!"
Can people _please_ stop punctuating their posts with these? - pHr34kY, on 10/22/2007, -2/+12OK, what the hell did apple have to do with any of that? Wouldn't want to be taking credit or anything... If I wanted to watch an ad I'd blow the dust off my television.
- multitude, on 10/22/2007, -1/+10Apple is using a technique from marketing which makes people think that they are being subversive while actually being pressed into a mold of obedient consumers.
- lidri, on 10/22/2007, -32/+41Mac seriously aren't all that innovative, i mean come on they bought coverflow of some developer. Come on Mac fanboys, digg me down!
- Stevethegreat, on 10/21/2007, -1/+10If half of those "who think things differently" are TV personnas, I have to question the video maker's idols, he seriously has to read more books, learn more history, actually read how much more important were the "important people" and don't fool yourselves, most of the scientist were geeks already no matter the age they lived. Maybe that's exactly the problem of our age people do not know people who actually see things differently, they only look at the glass and whatever it decides to give them.
Apart from Hawking, any of them, can hardly have my respect, if you want to change the world you'll make damn well to have proper models and not people profiting from you and your obsessions (Apple, TV programs). The unenlightenment indeed reached a new low, if the self-professed enlightened are still so close-minded then we are dumbed upon. We need a fresh wave of intellectuals that the internet can and will indeed support, untill now the great communication method we have is being consumed by infantile people with their infantile idols, pathetic and sad. - burke, on 10/21/2007, -2/+11Yeah, Apple should start making advertisements that don't actually link them to the ad. That would be a great way to boost revenue.
- klaupacius, on 10/21/2007, -2/+11Im a Mac user. That was insulting. Apple taking credit for all those people's achievements. Wrong. Re do it and chop it off before Jobs and Woz show up.
- Drakonik, on 10/22/2007, -3/+12I agree completely. I thought it was a beautiful and funny tribute. Without the freaks and geeks of the world, we wouldn't be going anywhere.
The Apple logo did ruin it a little, but I still have to agree that Apple was a big part of the computer revolution.
But even if it wasn't for all that, I'd digg it for having Adam doing his fire-proof dance. - Cowwan, on 10/22/2007, -1/+9Great except for the last 5 seconds.
- meatmcguffin, on 10/21/2007, -1/+9If you really believe that, you're an idiot. No apple means MS wouldn't be the power it is now. Every computer manufacturer would have brought out PCs years later than they did do and all with different compatibility standards.
- burke, on 10/21/2007, -4/+12Quite honestly, very few things have as much of an impact as personal computing in the last 20-30 years, and Apple has been a HUGE contributor, if only by providing competition to Microsoft. I don't think this is that far-fetched at all.
- rushiku, on 10/21/2007, -1/+9Hot? No.
Cute? Maybe.
Dumb as a box of rocks? Stop insulting rocks. - AZooYorkMystery, on 10/21/2007, -0/+8...And once again the rebels succeed and become the corrupt rulers they fought against.
Haven't we learned anything from the Russian Revolution? - Rolamoto, on 10/22/2007, -4/+12Block it from your digg homepage then.
- mrminty, on 10/21/2007, -1/+8I thought even more different... and installed linux.
- froggiestone, on 10/21/2007, -0/+7TubeSpam!
- raffyoh, on 10/23/2007, -3/+10that was the queerest thing i have ever seen.
- Moosebern, on 10/22/2007, -2/+9No Way is he sad. That video is awesome, shows different spectrum's of views and everything.
- manitoba98xp, on 10/21/2007, -0/+6Additionally, many inventions are created by non-Americans outside of America, they're simply employed by American companies (who make up quite a bit of the world's population). Intel's recent Core platform, though not a new invention, was created by a team in Israel.
- superal1394, on 10/23/2007, -0/+6Digg needs less whiners.
- Hypermarkalan, on 10/21/2007, -0/+6Hell, he's the only one who cooks on the channel anymore.
- Jeffler, on 10/23/2007, -0/+6...digged?
- Jeffler, on 10/21/2007, -0/+6They were in the original ad...
- GeyserShitdick, on 10/22/2007, -5/+10"Here is my attempt to capture some of the EMOTION behind apple computing"
It's a ***** computer, people. Holy *****. - FDL1, on 10/22/2007, -1/+6Google seriously aren't all that innovative, i mean come on they bought keyhole, picasa, grandcentral, orkut off some developer.
- poageboy, on 10/21/2007, -0/+5wow...what an epic comment. i feel like it needs some music though.
and some better lighting. - stacky, on 10/21/2007, -2/+7"Oh sugar, you just gone and done the dumbest thing of your whole life."
Now, where is Miho? - BlueStarr, on 10/22/2007, -21/+26It always makes me a little emotional every time I watch vids like this..
- rofflcopterr, on 10/22/2007, -0/+4what's an iTouch?
- Murdats, on 10/21/2007, -0/+4so you want us to show you non american inovators by showing you non american companies who do whats already done?
how about you show us the nintendos, sonys (as much as i hate them) and all the numerous other companies
the black box on planes was invented by an australian, so was the squeegie, the person who recently won the nobel prize for finding the cause to ulcers by infecting himself with them because noone would believe him was australian. there are a handful there. - drgmdp, on 10/21/2007, -8/+12maybe sometimes you want to read some apple news and not constant fanboy fapping
- hellyes, on 10/23/2007, -0/+3No kidding.
