Get Root on 10.5.4 - It's Not Exactly Difficult
rixstep.com — There's a wide open door on Mac OS X 10.5.4 Leopard - yes, the latest update. It goes way back to Tiger at least. And it's child's play to 'root' a Mac OS X box. No hacking required! This is deadly serious. It's yet another gaping design flaw.

- Fairly, on 07/02/2008, -0/+3Anything that belongs to root has to be in /System. I don't understand why they don't grasp this. Who knows how many boxes have been rooted over the years. Yikes.
