- richstyles, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This interface could be the hot new thing for QuickSilver.
Wish someone would make QS more stable and reliable though. - Dog_Paddle, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3It's not even released, and most likely won't look like the screenshots
Meh - AnkurKothari, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I like Primer over Cube too. It's the whole multiple selection thing in Primer that's great, and the cube animation does get tiring after a while.
- AnkurKothari, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Glad you think so. I'm the developer. ;)
Seriously, though, I do think the Fumo interface will get pretty close to the real thing. Transparency and effects really take less than an hour at most. Its just getting all the little nitty gritty QS methods subclassed that'll take a while. Alcor (the author of Quicksilver) is always very open with the code, so I'm certain this will really kick off quite well when it does.
Of course, if you just don't like it, please do tell me why. I'm keen to know! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Not released, but they have a demo of it. I installed it a few minutes ago, and it's STARTING to get there. The shape and fade in/fade out effects look similar. I don't see why you'd doubt that they could make it look like that. The only difference is transparency really, and that's already been done in countless apps.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1When have you ever had a problem with it? I started using it a while ago and have never had anything go wrong, freeze up or stop responding.
- miyamotofreak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Forget the Cube. It's all about the Primer.
